Actually I just noticed the description said he looted it, but looted ones aren't near that good, and it has an object creator...maybe he meant he looted the schematic?

Definitly handmade...but how the hell did he get that large of a max dmg with no powerup?! I have never seen anything like that.


And I thought that my 514 damage was huge...jeez!

I would treat this screenshot as suspect. He says he looted it ("HOLY GOD !!! Looted this and Sliced it for 35% damage !!!"), but he obviouslydidn't - we catchhim in a lie right there.


It wasn't looted. The name is "VAST GENOSIAN SONIC BLASTER GALACTIC DRAGO...", it says "Object Creator: OreX" , and as if that weren't enough evidence, the durability is at 100% (989/989), something we have never seen in looted pistols before.


I don't believe him for a second. If he hadn't lied about looting it, maybe I would be a little more open minded, but I'm not. If it turns out that this weapon can actually be crafted this way and the screenshot is legitimate (even if it's claimed origin is not), I have to wonder if there is some kind of bug or exploit involved. Time will tell.


There is some amazing loot coming out of that dungeon, though. Not everybody is in agreement that it is balanced. I'm not passing judgement until we find out if the screenshot is real, if the itemwas legitimately crafted, and what looted item components went into it's creation.

FIRST OF ALL, NO ONE GET YOUR HOPES UP. This is an exploited pistol.



I am master smuggler and I have a krayt gen pistol my max dmg WITH A POWERUP is 514...I have cubes and the whole works. This is obviously double sliced, hope he doesnt get caught cause if I got shot with that and saw the damage it was doing to me being outlandish (like I am sure it is) I would be sending a /tell to a CSR ASAP.


The highest damage "legit" pistol I have heard is high 500's low 600's...but this is outlandish and impossible even with 35% slice. And no powerup?! Come on...

There is one explanation for it being a looted item with an object creator, and it is as follows:


Some items will take the name of the smuggler that sliced the weapon and use that as the object creator. It doesn't happen all of the time, but it is known to happen.


With that said, yes the stats are a little suspicious...hopefully I'll get my hands on that schematic or a few more drops and I'll see what comes of it.

I have a question. Sure that does good damage, but without a cert, you wouldn't do nearly that much. Is that right?
