Thread: How does a Master Pistoleer/Master Smuggler stack up against regular stormtroopers?

No problems at all.....panic shot, low blow, last ditch.....if they get close, use melee defense 1. If you have a Geo blaster, it would be even better.

I happen to be just that very double-master. I find that Fan Shot allows me to mow down entire 12-man patrols, with Low Blow and Last Ditch to pick off any that try to wander off.

Agreed Fanshotting them to death is more fun than using TK spin attacks!

I never realized how great fan shot was until I found a faction farm. With a buff I can aggro all the storimes in the base,

and just run back and forth through the group spamming fan shot, and it's amazing how fast they all take damage. Sometimes

it seems like the ones im not targeting are getting hit more than the guy im shooting at. Just watch out for the walking turrets.

Sweet.....now All I need is the 4.5 million pistol exp to master them both....10 buff sessions at Ft Tusken, 30 hours play time.....yeesh.

it's worth it, my template is MP, BH pistols, Smuggler Pistols and novice command. lastditch with a launcher on an at-st and watch it drop, eat your heart out riflemen.


and fanshot on a group of imps with a de-10 rake in teh faction and loot.

Can you elaborate a little more on low blow and last ditch.

I keep hearing two stories.

They are bad, the dps is low, etc etc.

I prefer a DX2 pistol against stormies, since I prefer to save my Geno for PvP.

Low Blow - Good: The ranged KD is excellent, paired with panic shot you get 10 seconds of major damage


Can give you time to heal,switch weapons, run away


Bad: In PvP it can be very difficult to stick , especially on someone with good Def v KD


If spammed the second /lowblow to stick cancels the first causing them to stand


Last Ditch - Good: DPS is good, highest pistol dmg modifier (I think)


Stuns the target


Bad: Random Pool hit

I didn't know that about the 2nd Low Blow that sticks causing them to stand. Yowsers.
