Greetings,

i'm a young Bh with a strong love for ranged profession, in particular pistol.
I'm master pistoleer/Bh 3040/Smuggler 0040, the best a pistoleer can get.
I have a nice medium scatter with a 380 mx dmg pupped and a de-10 with a 540 max damage pupped.
The problem in jedi Knight hunting is 85% block and sure toughness that pistol/bh doesn't have etc.. but
here the question, don't you think the scatter is more able than de-10 to pass the block?

Maybe i'm totally wrong.. but so it seems to me, i'm really indecided to what buy next a better de-10 or dropping master pistoleer and buying a best scatter i can get?

Any help is welcome.

why would you think that? and my scatter is 312 unpupped, so that makes 400 damage+ powerupped

You would think a scater parts of the shell could pass the block, but you also have to remember Jedi Can block FT's how they block sheets of flame I have no idea.

ya that needs to be fixed...i'm gonna pick up the flamethrower tree instead of llc's, cause that's one hit swoop kills and flames are more fun

I have a buddy same combo as you and we go jedi hunting all the time and he has better luck with his 454 max un-puped de-10 compared to his scatter.

the only benefit from a scatter would be that it is faster, but if you have bh pistols, that doesn't even matter. The more damage you can do the better you are going to do against a jedi, so a high damage DE-10 is going to do better than a Scatter pistol in almost any case. If you really want to do well against jedi you are going to need some EXTREMELY good weapons. Like best on the server weapons.

Scatters are easier to get and enhance.

As far as what hits the person(jedi) better and with more that I dont know.

It's all down to pure damage, not damage type. So if you could get your hands on u super CDEF that'll work fine

if however u are performing in regular pvp (not against jedi), a geo can work well because you only have to go through 40 % armor resists and 60 % psg resists, while aDE-10 has to go through 90 % armor resists and 60% psg resists. A high powered scatter would also work well for pvp becuase there are no psg resists for it, only the 90% armor resists

Scatter is also AP1 which is often overlooked.

InPvP (not against Jedi) the scatter can do pretty well. It doesn't have to get through a shield, you see, where the Geo and DE-10 do. Heck, I'll even pull out a DX-2 from time to time, if I think the target has an ADK on their shield. And who doesn't have that these days?

my scatter is 650 pupped and my fwg is 900+ pupped, 300 damage tissues ftw
