Not having novice medic is gonna hurt a bit, well alot. Maybe drop power line in tka for it? Or drop the commando skills and pick up tka power boast/forceOfwill/meditate and novice medic?

Oh wait nm, You still need marksman for bh so dropping commando doesnt do much

Well i currently have medic 0 1 4 1 which i used for grinding Pistols, i added Novice Commando cos i believe the Launcher pistol can cause some damage, and the TKA tree for hand 2 hand combat if i needed it. Howeveri WAS thinking bought dropping novice commando and trying to get Investigation 3 (i know its bugged) for hunting Jedi's etc.

Not sure that template would be ideal for hunting jedi's though

my suggestion would be to drop the power line of tk and pick up the meditate.power boost and force of will is worth it.besides you can meditate off poison dieseas and heal yourself with it. granted you can't heal yourself on the fly like with a medic skill but for the template you already have it would be worth the change cause i dont think the power line of tk is doing you as much good.

Hi all

Ive been playing SWG for a few months now and after having a stint in Weaponsmith, Fencer and Rifleman i decided to return to Farstar as a Pistoleer. My Chosen template is this with 6 SP left.

Master Pistoleer

BH Pistols 4

Novice Commando (for Launcher Pistol)

TKA 0 0 4 0 (powers tree)

Just your opinions on how i will fare in PvP and any suggestions on the Template

Ok well since reading your input on the Teras Kasi Meditate tree i took my template back to the drawing board. I now have BH Pistols 3, Master Pistoleer and the TKA power and Meditate tree's. The only reason why i have had BH pistols is for eye shot as i hear its pretty devastating with the likes of a Geo Blaster.

I'm master pistoleer, BH 3040, and tk 0004. I picked up that tk tree for the melee and ranged defense and the defense acuity which should make my dodge kick in alot more. Is there a better tk tree i should use for defense puerposes only?

my template works really well on if you have very very good weapons to use, no medic bites after awhile though because I usually target health.. I outdamage most but due to healing and me hating eyeshot get pwned sometimes

now it all depends on what u want to be. u can be all offensive and go master pistol/bh0040/smug0040/novice commando

if that doesnt suit u, i myself am master pistol/bh0030/fencer0440, with this temp i think works very well. i have great defenses, and if u can loot some good defensive tapes, and some pistol acc, pistol acc while moving and standing u are incredible. both my dz/kd defense are over 100pts so its very rare for me to get dz/kd'd, and i have 160 in pistol acc, i rarely miss. and of course there are those that will say having no medic will hurt u, but the way i think about it is, this isnt a solo playing game, this is a group game so i think how i will fair in a group. in duels, yes sometimes i cannot fair very well, since if they target my health and have a very good health weapon i die. but i have eyeshot, and like others have said i have a very nice sonic, 492 with pup max dam, that can tare through comp like crazy. all in short, u just have to look at what u wanna do, u wanna pvp, pve, solo duels or be good at group raids and such. it is just all to your liking.
