Here's my spec

master marksman

scout 4-0-0-0

bh 3-0-4-0 (inv 3, pistols 4)

master pistoleer

brawler 4-0-0-0

smuggler 0-0-4-0 (dirty fight)

what i use in pvp (exact order)

1)intimidate (repeat if doesn t ffect target)

2)health attack (repeat if no bleed)

3)torso shoot (repeat if no fire)

4)panic shot

5)leg shot (if the combo to knock mob down didn t work i don t repeat 4-5)

6)eyeshot (repeat if hasn t blinded)

7)last ditch (spam)

i re apply state effects whenver they go away

any meanwhile i try the panic shot /leg shot combo

and i spam last ditch

what i am not scure about is last ditch, yeah it does a lot of dmgbut it s a random pool attack

many say that (expecially against jedi) best thing is just:

1) intimidate them (is it really that usefull ?)

2)torso shot (fire is always nice)

3)bleed (the bh bleed wich can affect mind)

4) eyeshot spam

eyeshot is a nice shot, it blinds and it hurts ONLY mind (wich is currently the weaker stat)

what do you think it s the best strategy to defeat an opponent with pistols? (jedi and non jedi?)

feel free to criticize my combo and give me any hint!

thanks again

This is the same skill for skill template I'm working on. I'll just say this... "great minds think alike"

going for a "Jedi hunting Squad Leader" sorta

As far asspecials im thinking right now dazzel witheffects and spam eyeshotjust IMO. Who knows maybe action bar will be the weaker barin a month or two and we will all be carbineers!LOL

Jedi: Run. if you can't run then use last ditch, you may get a few shots in there especially if your tkm friend just kd the jedi.

Non jedi: again try to ust last ditch. if he gets low then heals switch to mind hits. again if you have a tkm friend who kd then your last ditch is going to own.

Hmmm, I like to start off with Torso Shot for fire, though it is generally useless against buffed opponents.

I tend to use a macro firing Low Blow, following with 2 Last Ditch attacks, hoping at least one maybe both will land while the target is down, and stick a stun.

If health doesn't seem to go down fast enough, genrally spam Eye Shot.

Against Jedi Knights = one on one, hopeless. Low Blow and run away. With groups, try to get kd when Jedi is dizzy, otherwise Last Ditch for stun effect.

In my experience, even this pistol template with all the specials blows for pvp. Works best in groups for status effects, and bleeds/fire. Also, eyeshot nice when grouped with swordsman

I never bother with food, drink, spice, buffs or armor, and I only duel people that are not buffed, although who knows what they are under the influence of... Anyway, if they don't have armor, I use a nice low HAM dh17 pistol. If they are armored, I use a nice modified repulbic blaster. The moves I use are:

1. (I get first move) AIM + Confusion Shot (some damage, they are frozen till next move which allows another aim shot, Pistolmelee defense, then if they fall spam last ditch few shots then lowblow when they get up. If thier mind is highest (think power boosting TKM) then I use last ditch till end. Otherwise I use eye shot to work the mind down and never use last ditch at all.

I can not remember all the specifics, but this template most certainly does not "blow" in PvP. I had this template for a long time and I had absolutely no trouble in PvP. Did I always win? No. I did win more than my share though.

If you are able to get your hands on good weapons this template rocks. A geo pistol with over 350 max damage slices through working and your opponent isn't healing.

Also, it is good to train up to Master Kiter.

Remember, whendizzied and then PD'd, kip-up shot stands you up without fallingdue to the dizzy. (Man, that makes fencers mad.)

Kip up does work when you a PD'd(Posture downed while dizzy). If you a KD'd you just need to stay there and do the fish flop for a bit without spamming stand.

Once you are Posture Downed(which is all a fencer can do my the way), if you stand from kneeling you will usually fall due to the dizzy. Kip up will get you standing and allow you to move again without falling.

Master Marksman

Master Pistoleer

1-0-0-0 Medic

4-0-0-0 Scout

4-0-0-0 Brawler

0-0-2-0 BH

0-0-4-0 Smuggler

It's never the same as strategies change as you fight different people.

Against Jedi, there's not much you can do solo unless they are low level. I spam Intimidation andLast Ditchto stick my mind fire and mind poison. Afterwards, I use a combination of Last Ditch, Low Blow, Supression Fire, and Panic shot until I die.

Against non-Jedi, usually keep them intimidated and stunned (especially fencers). Then depending on what armor pieces they have on, I'll use Last Ditch or Eyeshot. Some Low Blows, Supression Fire, Panic Shot, and Burst Run to help me kite. Mind dots if they put up a good fight, health dots for fun.
