Thread: Attack Speed 2.1 is the fastest possible speed?
Someone told me every gun that has a speed lower than "2.1" is still 2.1 speed.
Is that true?
Weapons with attack speeds below 2.1 are definitely useful, especially if you are lower level (have a lower pistol speed skill) or are using special attacks with a large delay multiplier.
The particular person who told you that might have had a high enough pistol speed skill that it didn't matter for him, but it would still matter for others.
Wait a tick... (hehe, sry)
Lets say someone is a BH master Pistol tree, and a Master Pistoleer... at some point, the +10, +20, and +6's in speed won't do anything?
I have aslicedscout blasterwith 1.2 speed.
BTW how do you tell the speed you're actually firing at? Isn't you're speed slower if your using specials? None of this is really explained very well.
I'm positive that in beta Holo said that 2.0 was the lowest possible speed that any crafter could make.
Of course, it can then be sliced to sub 2.0 but 2.0 is the min stock speed.
Lowcas master weaponsmiths are making 1.7 stock speed scouts. I have sliced several to 1.1.
The real question is if there is a hardcap on speed.
lol did your weopon smith tell you that?
maybe he was tryin to keep your business
But with the way weapon speed skill works, it doesn't much matter. Once you have 100 your 1.3 pistol and your 8.1 rifle both shoot once per second...
I'm a novice pistoleer with Stances and Grips 1 and I had my 2.0 speed scout sliced to 1.5. There is a big difference in my firing rate. My scout pistolis sooooooo much faster now. It helped me a lot.
