i am a master pistoleer and have been fed up with it.i am hangin on to it in the hopes that the devs are actualy listening here ..tka was not as broke as pistoleer now look at it tka masters are almost unbeatable ..im supposed to be a master of pistol use ..i have no pistol that does any significant damage nor can one be made ...not like a scatter pistol or launcher..which can have stats like 180-450 at 1.3 or lower speed ...nor can i attack a specific pool ...why is it that im supposed to a master of pistols and theres pistols i cant use ? why is it that i can supposedly target a attackers weapon{unarm shot} but i can target there head like eyeshot--or there legs like low blow ..a smuggler has less pistol skill boxs than a pistoleer but they have better and stronger specials...same with a BH a novice BH with there pistol 2 which is eyeshot can beat me in a duel cause they can target my mind ? im sick of this crap what pistols do we get ...what the hell can i target ....im supposed to be the most accurate and deadly pistol user ....wheres my pistol?

well, you do have bodyshot 3... which, last time i checked, hits health

I love being a Master Pistoleer but then Im a master Smuggler as well and the mix is just nasty.

Pistoleer is NOT the class you take by itself unless it's the weapon you want to use. If it is the weapon you want to use, you need to buff it right now with BH or Smuggler or Defenses from Melee Classes. I don't like this any more than anyone else, primarily because I want all of the Pistoleer's to stop dabbling on MY Dirty Fighting line. You all don't smuggle (nor do I, besides the point:smileywink and so you all shouldn't be using my sneaky moves.

Pistoleer is a decent class for the crafter to consider, as also is Commando and TKA and any other class that's better than us

I don't think Pistoleer will get much better as long as everyone is dabbling in another profession to buff it. The Dev's look at their fancy metrics info and say, "Novice Pistoleer is the most common profession that people take (besides CH). since it's popular, it must be nerfed!"

But why can't we be a self-sufficient class like TKA? Don't get me wrong, I don't want a nerf to TKAs, and I don't thing we should be *uber* and unbeatable. Although, I believe that we SHOULD be able to fight a decent fight! Currently, at Novice Fencer I can do more damage, my weapons are better, and I'm just as fast. I also have a Stun weapon, and specials that are TARGETED and that WORK.

Now, if Disarming Shot 2, went back to its Knockdown, that would be enough for me to keep Pistoleer.

If Disarming Shot 1 went to a Panic Shot attack, or a Warcry attack, it would be worth keeping.

Ifwe had a targeted shot worth using, I might keep Pistoleer.

But as it is, I'm surrendering my Pistoleer skills tommorow.

I think he is right in some aspects. Ok, werea Master of Pistols, so we should be able to use all Pistols. Well, ok yes, I understand, but give the BHs and Commandos their Pistols. Dont worry about those. Although, I do disagree with this.

Using my Pistol, (as a Master Pistoleer) I get slaughtered by sole Rouges and Expert BHs. So you telling me that someone that has one tree (or two) or Pistol skills can beat a Master of the Pistol? I don't think so. If the player MIXED with Pistoleer, yes, they did more work, so let them beat me.

Smugglers get Panic Shot and Low Blow. Those two together are better than any shot in Pistoleer, and Last Ditch is 2x better than Stopping Shot. (Yes I have fought with a Rouge before, against me, and on my team in PvP and PvE.)

Bounty Hunters Eye Shot hits the mind pool, a targeted pool. I'm not saying that WE should hit the mind, but come on...WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO TARGET A POOL. (Yes, we have Body Shot 3. Its worse than Body Shot 2. I hit 900 at most with Body Shot 3. About the same with Body Shot 2.) AND BHs have the targeted Torso Shot with added fire damage. At least give us a status change/targeted attack.

Of course Bounty Hunters get to target pools, however they lose the defense mods that almost every other class gets. At Master Bounty Hunter you get +7 Ranged Defense and that's it for the whole profession. So it's give and take. I'd rather have defense mods with bodyshot3 working personally. However, I am a Pistoleer/Expert Bounty Hunter. I just want to be a true Master of Pistols.

I'm a master pistoleer and smuggler 0 0 4 0. I dont see what you people are griping about, use what the devs have given us to our advantage. BH is a skillpoint hogger, but smuggler only costs some unarmed and a tree to get a few good shots. Look outside the box guys.

Bodyshot3 does less DPS then bodyshot2. It is a useless special.

At master pistoleer speed BS3 works just fine. But only at master speed.

The only reason to master pistoleer is the +20 speed bonus.

Ugh stop whining about smuggler.

Before you whine more look at the dirty fighting tree itself.

See the no skill mods except for feign death.

All smugglers are pistoleers too.

They arent really self sufficient, you need to have decent medic skill to even out the huge ham costs. Master doc/tka is badass. But even as 0/0/4/0 pistoleer I beat my master tka friends every time. I honestly dont see the point of mastering pistoleer. The tech tree is good and the +speed + defense tree is ok , body shot 3 seems useless to me...
