So, what's everyone wearing for armor?? I've been a little confused about the usage of armor in this game so far what with some armor being worse to wear than nothing and all.. So I was curious as to waht mid-to master level Pistoleers are wearing, why they are wearing it, and what gun goes with that armor (since armor seems to be linked to HAM regen values)

You can wear heavy armor as a pistoleer because you don't have to worry about killing yourself with your own weapon like a carbineer.

You can wear any armour you like but when was the last time anyone saw Wild Bill Hickock wearing armour Or John Dillenger. Come on guys were gunfighters not squadleaders. Muuaaaaaa.

I run around in a black suit jacket ,black gloves and black pants. I have malabari armor on hotkeys in cause i accidentally aggro 8 thugs i put the armor on and fight with it. Usually just the clothes though. The armor looks dumb.

I should reach Pistoleer today, was going for BH but... meh.

I have been wearing a combination og Mabari/Bone/Tantel sp?

But I think I'm gonna ditch it and just use clothing, it hardly makes any difference to me to be honest.

It depends on the situation.

In most situations, I wear my clotheswhich consists of a burgandy cloak, black simple **edit**, black simple pants, a black multipocket belt, black hide boots, black leather gloves, black shoulder strap, collectors edition glasses. I think it looks very gunslingeresque and I really like the look. Another reason I wear my clothing so much is because I have skill mods on it. I have a general ranged aiming 4 skill mod, and a injury treatment speed 2 mod on my belt and boots. For these reasons I wear my clothing 90% of the time.

Inshort durration situations, where I will be taking alot of damage (for example when I raid anchorhead by myself and there are 3 or more rebels there ) I usually wearnear a full suit of padded. Idont havethe HAM to wear the full suit, however I can protect myself fairly well with it.Iusually scout ahead of time and see what myenemies are wielding, then equip it based on the situation.I always wear the helm (even though itsugly) to protect my mind as much as possible. Since I am part medic, my mind pool allows me to continue the fight when most people would be incaped or fleeing. The armor is sliced, and usually protects me against 60% of most attacks. The only other time when I wear this is if I wana look good for some sort of formal situation. It looks like a uniform of sorts, and I enjoy the compliments I get.

I am debating on whether or not I want to try out a suit of composite, though I think ill wait until they fix the layering problems.
