Thread: Master Pistol/Bh 3040, Anyone?

I will asume that you mean Master Pistol/BH 3/0/4/0. Because that would give you the BH Pistol line. If you really ment 3/0/0/4 don't waste you time with the LCC ist good in PvE, but only on certian MoBs and will get you knowwhere in PvP.
So assuming the first statement is what you ment then yes its been done before. It will give you crazy speed and accuracy modifiers to you pistol. Also the Fore DoT can be pretty nice. Its a great use of points. Also You will be able to hunt some Jedi, which can always be fun.
Just a word of advise though. Don't try to ask the BH community for help on this. Alot of Bounty Hunters see this as a perversian of thier profession and wont help you. I being a BH don't see anything wrong with this though and will tell you its seems to be a great template. Although I do aspire to be a MBH someday. Damn Investigation!!

I would have to agree with that. My current template is Master Pistoleer/Master TKA/0040 Smuggler/2000 Fencer/Novice Medic
With this template I am at or near cap for my defenses, have outstanding dodge, great pistol specials, and I can use stim-b's on myself when I get in a bind.

um that was not a hit against you eked. just the whole pvp in general. its take out the mind. period.. plain and simple. atleast give every class a decalred mind shot so we can all participate in this one angle approach to pvp

is torso shot really worth the burned skill points on master scout? how would it compare to using the scout points to get last ditch and lp use or even flame box 1 and low blow; burn
It gives you access to EYESHOT, wich is really great in PvP, and you have the certification for the scatter gun.
You shoot everything at the speedcap ( well almost everything, if you have a decent weapon sliced ).
I keep the brawler for intimidation, wich is also usefull in PvP.
The only downside is you are totally dependent on pistols for combat. If you have lots of money ( wich i dont =) ), that wont be so much of a problem, you can afford a decent geo and/or krayt scatter. If you dont, well things tend to be a bit more difficult when you engage in one on one PvP, but then you can get around this using tactics.
In PvE you rule with the scattergun and FANSHOT ( make sure you have that brandy ready, you'll rush through your mindbar like a junkie on speed )
Before i was Master Pistoleer / Master - Smuggler / Fencer 4-0-4-0.
This was also a good template, but you miss the mindshot special alot. And i like pistol to much to switch to fencer during combat.

I'm actualy going for a similar template but have not decided on 4/0/3/0 onr 3/0/4/0 I want to tend towards BH but only use pistols. Also the DE-10 (which I must have when it comes out) requires master pistol for cert.
Torso shot is awsome, but if I am trying to be the best BH possible but with a pistol I may have to let it go.

I've never understood this "jealousy" and I'll never will. My template is Master Pistoleer / BH 3040 and I can't see why master BH are so pissed at this.
Why someone can't be a BH without having to be a master... Why not put all the specials, speed mods and jedi missions at master. That way you'll be sure that no one dabble in BH. Why not just forget this skill points system that allows you to customize your toon and only tolerate pure masters...
