Hey all u pistoleers out there..if your still pistoleer that is...wats ur pistol like? just wandering wat everyone uses:

mine are as follows:

Krayt Repbulic (damsliced at21%) : Speed 2.3 Dam 87-288

Krayt Scout(speed sliced at 26%): Speed 1.2 Dam 77-180

DX2 Sliced (dam sliced at 38%): speed 2.1Dam 155-214

Republic(dam sliced 30+%): speed 2.2 Dam 87-255

also wondering wats better speed or damage?

Master Pistoleer, dmg is better than speed, IMO, should be hitting speed cap with most specials especially with master marksman. Plus a 32%speed, 16% min dmg power up goes along way. I have no weapons to reveal at this time as I am at work.

The best pistol I have is an fwg5 with 1.4spd something-292 damage without powerup.

Also, the MAX slice on a weapon is 35%, so someone lied to you if they said they sliced it for 38%

Wrong. Why do so many poeple never check numbers? The 2.1 weapon would even with master marksman and a 32% speed powerup not fire stopping shot at cap, without powerup, you need 88 pistol speed to reach the cap here, 9 more than you have with maser pistoleer and master marksman.

What exactly IS the formula for the speed at which a pistol is shot......

This is what I carry with me. All sliced, no powerup. The only Krayt weapon I have is the FWG5. I have another Krayt FWG5 almost identical to this one but the condition is low and needs repaired. The Geo is one of the crappy looted ones with a poison DOT. I keep it around because it's better than a crafted Tangle pistol LOL. I mainly use the DX2 and the Republic Blasters. The DX2 has +70 at 16m and +23 at 0m! It's a great gun. Never miss

DX2: 138-220, 2.3
Republic Blaster: 80-247, 2.8
Republic Blaster: 83-266, 2.3
Republic Blaster: 91-290, 2.3
Krayt FWG5: 71-294, 1.5
Striker: 99-161, 2.1
Power5: 72-218, 2.8
DL44: 71-216, 1.9
Geo Sonic Blaster: 72-121, 3.7

I usually buy at least 3 of each gun and get them all sliced and keep the best damage sliced ones. I never have a problem with speed on any of the guns. They should really just do away with speed slices or make it so you can choose what you want.

episode II: i am no longer smuggler i no longer fear the cork guns or the delay on the delay for the revamp.. leave a message after the beep when revamp comes and then i shall return. but then maybe i will show them and do a delay on my return.. ha!!! take that soe (if they have not frustrated me more then i already am)
