Oh, yes, that's a classic kickbutt pistol template. And because you're WAY over the speed cap with that template, you can really dish out the damage (lastditch and eyeshot especially).

Yes this is a nice template great for pve and if you eat a little bit of the dodge food and some sythsteak you can do very well in pvp

Continued,this template is great for PvE,and PvP .

im master pistol/smug 0040/BH 3040.its an all around kick butt template .with the right foods i do good vs. melee classes.and in PvE everything is pretty easy .

with the smug skills you get last ditch which is said to be the most powerful pistol attack of the game(not disputing).

and you get some great clutch skills like panic shot (like warcry ),low blow (ranged knockdown),and everyones fav' feign death lol.

i picked up Novi Com' before smuggler and the launcher pistols really isnt worth the SP wasted to certify in it . smuggler skills are far better.+ from time to time when i want to slice my own containers i can cause of novi smuggler.

as for hunting jedi - a padawans never killed me ,knights rock my socks .

You just have to know the skills you have and use them in the right manner . ive been playing since launch,been half a dozen proff' and this template has kept me happy in both aspects of the game Pv(E)P---and to all you pistoleers out there that are looking for a little TRICK of the trade ill give you one tonight(altough i dont know if its an exploit or not)...here goes .

(Hunting high HAM mobs ...for good loot)

lets say you want to solo the death watch bunker / solo a krayt....fine (ive been doing it for months now )

heres how,you have to have the same template im running ,go get yourself a good set of buffs ,steaks,muon,canape,brandy ,all that crap.get your highest max damage pistol .Now gimmie a burst run as far as you can down the DWB hallways(if your trying to get loot from there ),when you get deep enough (like 6 doorways down) feign death casue youll have a grip of aggro on you ,after a second wait for them to go back to there respected posts' then STAND,target a death watch wraith or guard(humanoid not droid),and hit there ass with torso shot,and if you have last ditch hit em with that till half your hams gone ,add an itemidate if you have the time,then feign death again and watch em burn ,rinse and repeat till there killed .

Then loot yout de-10 schems/barrels/bla bla bla...note1)when you shot a target and loss ham then FD,if your buffs are good enough you will heal up in no time (2)you have to go down quite a bit in the DWB too get good loot drops,(3)as soon as you stand from feign death the past aggro you had from running to your killing spot will aggro you again ...thats fine....just hit your target fast and hard ,dont get cocky and try to get that one last shot in ,as i said use your highest damage pistol ,they usually make torso shots fire tick for more.

now ive soloed things in the DWB like this killed kimo's,krayts,umm....pretty much whatever lol .and i would usually think that this is an exploit if it wasnt for the new npc special hit system ,cause npc will offen give you a bleed every now and then ,and if you have ever got a bleed from a wraith or a krayt you know the pain i speak of ,so even if you FD your still going to get capped from the bleeds,so play it smart and watch your ham ,and NO novi medic will not add to the fun in this template casue youll spend more time healing yourself with stim b-d's then actually killing ........them.

Feel free to add ,or give me a heads up if this is an exploit ,ive talked to a CSR about it and he stated its not ,but who knows after this lol ....

hope ive made a wrinkle in a novi pistoleers mind and helped a little ,Loki out .

Yep... I got that template.. and its fun as hell. Get a good launcher with high damage and wound % and use BH to burn/give wounds and last ditch to finish it.... works great vs. jedi

When pistoleer gets fixed, I think this will work pretty well in PvP too.

you dont get feign death, low blow, or last ditch but you instead getmelee mitigation 2 and +50 KD and posture down, and + a bit to dizzy, blind, and intim. you also cap your dodge skill, even tho it was almost capped already but still...and in a super emergency you can bust out a gaffi and use body hit3 for kinetic damage in a tough situation (since our kinetic pistols suck) along with the fire dot from torso shot even if your gun itself cant hurt them.

but yea both ways are good templates

dont u think it be better if u put the dodge bonuses and the defenses of fencer in there?
