Thread: Whats With all the love to scout blaster?

I really dont get why people think they're great pistols. I have never seen a resonbly priced scout blaster thats better then my d18. (or d17 i forget) Plenty open to critisism and such.

Well I have a scout blaster with max dmg no powerup of 313 with a speed of 1.1. Now if your D-18 is better i would like to see it. With a power up i have a scout blaster that I LOVE max is somewhere in the 416-419 I forget. But there is why alot of people like there scout blasters.

Lol good point but i mean a non excedingly expensive SB. I see a lot more chepaer better D18s and the such then good SBs

Really cause I have never found a scout blaster better than 150 with less than a speed of 3.0.

Scount blasters are fast... I have never seen one with over 200 dmg... but with Kryat I could see that.. but unfortunately they are AP0 which really impacts you in mid level and up PvE

stock weapons of a good WS:
D-18 Pistol 38-105 1.3 HAM 11-26-11 +35acc
Advanced DH17 99-152 1.8 HAM 20-38-11 +38acc
Advanced Scout 79-154 1.8s HAM 11-22-11 +27acc
Scout has lowest hamcost so would be superior when unbuffed. The DH17 is fairly new...and last time I checked they didn't have stats like this lol
I have a krayt Scout 325max with pup, a krayt DH17 with 250max with pup

People like the low ham for unbuffed usually. Most pistoleers will use their extra tissues on scout blasters even though scatters only take one tissue too. I have a 250 max unpowered with .6 speed and a 1.4 speed 310. You can get decent stats but still not really worth using. Even my 400 max damage umpowered fwg5's arent worth using right now with no AP.

They are good to grind with, and they are cooler looking than D-18s. Plus the scout troopers in RotJ used them, and scout troopers are hawt.

if your D18 is that bad the Scout is clearly the better choice

My SB wasn't particularly expensive - couldn't be since I'm not particularly rich - but it's very fast (1.7) and reasonably powerful (~230). I don't use it much anymore at master because my blaster is better, but it made a big difference for me in my growth.
