How does ageo pistols work if someon has composite armor that protects agains stun. What if its like 157-360, will it still do good damage.

as far as I know the protection on a stun layered suit of armor can only get in the 40% range, therefore you will still do good damage, but they will stand a better chance against you.

chances are if they have stun layered armor, then their armor has no vulnerabilities...and generally stun will be the lowest resistance on the armor.

Iv tried my Geos in PVP and they suck. Get yourself a Mod. R.P. and use nothing but healthshot2.

There are 2 lvls of geo's. The crappy looted kind that are low damage and you can prolly get for 100K. Then there are the ones that are fast, decent damage, low Ham, and good accuracy. They sell for at least 1 Million. They will cut you to shreads in seconds if they are damaged sliced and pup'd. I dueled a clan mate who got one who wanted to test it. Neither of use was buffed but he dropped me in abour 5 secs as armor didn't do anything. That combined with great damage and speed makes it deadly.

they are pretty good, its the best thing you can use with pistoleer. My stun suit is all 75% with 37-41% stun. Since it has no ap my suit is still blocking about 53% of the damage but thats still better than the 75% or energy or acid damage thats being blocked from RB and Dx2

Nope. My Mod RP's do 460 damage with a 75% bleed dot,1.4 speed and AR1 rating. With my master pistoleer skills itbeats any Geos made. I have3 geo's that do 320(sliced) andthey suck compaired to my Rp's.

the damage that shows up on your combat window is the actual damage inflicted neccessarily..... it does not take into account armor or resists
so, mostly likely, your republic blaster is doing far less damage unless they have a stun lair, in which case their other resists are probably really high and you will still be doing more damage with the geo

Even with a High Res. target in PVP I still do more damage with a MRP then a Geo. Its faster,does DOT bleed,does more maxdamage,higher wound damage,lower min. damage,very low ham costand is AR1 rated. Also being a master doctor/masterpistoleer I stay at 64m range in pvp and Healthshot2 them till they give up chasing me and healing there bleeding. Then i burst run and get the kill everytime. I have a full set of 90% comp and its for ALL stats so what dif does it make if you shot me with a stun or energy weapon? It dosnt.

Sorry I clicked out before i was done . Last thing is a Geo is only 48m. How will you shoot someone like me when you cant get within 48m ? And dont say burst run because I am always buffed and my burst run will outlast the normal players burst run.

lol, yeah.
heres where he chimes in and says 'of course i didnt mean stun' - even though stun damage is the whole point of this thread.
even 41% stun seems like a stretch, considering that stun layer resources are gated and even if you somehow manage to scrape together uber stun resources and putthree 13% stun layers in a suit youll still only have 39% stun protection.
either way, having made and sold a lot of armor, i can tell you that even with the geo craze there are few people out there wearing stun comp - let along good stun comp - and if they *are* wearing stun comp, youre still doing great damage especially if youre hitting for mind. geo pistols/eyeshot spam or jawa ion rifles with headshot3 kick @$$.
