I've just logged out of the game, as I was going completely mad.

I'm looking for a NPC Pistoleer trainer, which can train me in Novice Pistoleer. Currently I'm in Coronet and I've ran around town and didn't find any. I'm going crazy!!!

If I read the manual, I should be able to find a profession with /who, but how do I find a NPC?!

Please help me!

Look in Tyrena...There is one right near the cantina!

Everyone is becoming a Jedi now, I guess by staying non FS I will soon be one of the few...

Hey there....I agree that this can be a bit frustrating.

If you end up on Naboo....there is one alongside the Starport in Keren...right next to a carbine and rifle trainer. They are outside, around the side of the SP, under little cloth sun tarps.

Watch out.....the ones on Kettemoor have a smart mouth.

Best of luck to you!

There's also one in Mos Eisley outside the Cantina right next to the Smuggler and Bounty Hunter trainers (I guess that just goes to show all the cool people come from Mos eisley

Personally what I do is look for a good-sized player city close by, they usually have trainers for the most popular professions.

Guys, I want to thank you all for your help!

I have to confess that after posting my topic, I checked the sticky Pistoleer FAQ and found my answer there...

Nonetheless, a big thank you to you all and for your patience for not bashing me as a first time poster with a stupid question!

Thanks!

By the way: how do you get such a cool avatar in the left column (like the Trandoshan's head, etc.)?

Go to "My Profile" at the top of the screen.

Click on the "Icons" tab.

Now click on one of the pictures available. People with special titles (Veterans, Elders, Leaders, etc.) get more icons.

Happens all the time. Another easily accessable one is in Keren, Naboo, next to the starport.

A handy tip for finding anything is to have the overhead map up (ctrl + M). After while I started using it insead of the usual "/find medical center" and so forth. Anyone who's played an older MMORPG without any kind of navigation system knows how frustrating it can be, even for moderately experienced players. SWG doesn't have that problem, aside from things like finding an elite professiontrainer.

Actually, some of you have mentioned the CTRL-M thing to look for trainers... Are you serious?

I went actually mad, because I was using the CTRL-M utility to find trainers, but all it shows is by example: Trainer - Theodor Yadoko. This information is almost useless, as I still don't know what KIND of trainer he/she is! Therefore you'll still have to run around town, enter buildings, mount and unmount, and walk up to that NPC to see if he's the kind of trainer you're looking for...

I read in the manual something about the /who command, but haven't tried it yet... And with the /find command I'm not able to find them either...

If you have any thoughts on this let me know!

BTW: I went to the Pistoleer trainer, only to find out that he wouldn't train me, because I didn't have enough Pistol XP..... DUH!

At least I now know where he is!...
