"Now coming will be a drastic change in skills. There will be 9 classes as follows:

Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Commando, Medic, Force Sensitive, Officer (think SL), Tradesman, Entertainer, Spy. Poli and Pilot will remain unchanged."

Dont look at me chief, I just found it on a link through the Smuggler forums!


Can this be right?! Only 9 profs? None = Pistoleer? No weapon specialized profs? What is going on???

Its what made the game worth playing.

Reading through that article, I came to a realization. They had one thing very, very wrong. They said it was a change to revitaliza the MMORPG market.


But... the plan described is not an MMORPG.


Its an MMOFPS.


And I HATE FPS.

Im p*!@ed off regarding the changes. I have been around the game for a bit now (no-where near as long as some of your vets).

I have went through many template changes and eventually settling down to Pistoleer for a good 3-4 months now and have enjoyed every moment of being a Master Pistoleer.

Now i find out they are removing this completely and basically making a big balls up of the game. This doesnt make any sense but im not surprised after recent events.

The uniqueness of SWG is being driven out for money crazed buffoons. Like everyone else i shall give the changes a try, but if its like what the description says then there are many games similar to this and i do not enjoy there gameplay.

Someone needs to get these decision makers/game breakers into a room and smack them round the head a good bit until some sense eventually comes out of them.

I have seen for myself all the hard work Badger has put in and have seen for myself the changes and improvements he has got to the pistoleer profession. And then to turn round and smack him round a face like this. It shows me all they care about is the $ and the £.
