Ladies and gentleman, pistoleers of all ages its time for me to help you become a savage pistoleer in pvp. here r my tips :
1) get some good armor, i usually use composite full set.
2) get some good equipment (good asortment of gun)
now for my biggest tip well not really my biggest but here goes.... my favorite gun believe it or not is a dx2 hahaha, think bout it pistoleer is good up close and personal right??? well why not use a pistol that has a 20+ point blank mod on it? I am a huge pvper so all of my tactics have been proven in battle 
here some more handy tips:
try using a kd such as melee pistol 1 then move in close and pop them with point blank 2.
Try using my 2 fav shots !)health shot 2) multi pistol shot ya thats right multi shot lol. many peeps say it sux but in pvp i have got up to 500 points of damage on a player with composite armor. Now i know many peeps dont have this skill but try using /aim command its not that bad!! i know it helps me so it will help u as well

i know it sounds goofy but think bout it +point blank mod combined with point blank 2 (real fast attack) = a dead target in a few seconds. believe me all my tactics have been tested and proved so feel free to try them out

Your a big PvPer and you actually stand within 20m from melee class masters?
A pistoleers' best offense, is to kite melee, and make themselves tougher to hit from Ranged...(meaning stick and move)
....unless you have a weapon that can out damage them (high end crafted sonic blaster)....then you can try to stand still or get in melee range and take your chances..

Wow, if you have tested these so called tactics you must not be fighting any Elite PvPers...
With a speed sliced, or fast gun....you can hit the speed cap on most specials....
So why would you take distributed damage (point blank hits random pools) over bodyshot3 which directly hits the Health Pool?

The only advantage to PB2 is the range mod when using it. But at master and w/ a DX2 you might as well use Fanshot or Stoppingshot. They will out-power PB2 any day.

The only advantage to using Point Blank is to Rifleman / Carbineers who have - acc mods at Point Blank....
Pistoleers have their best Acc at Point Blank / Melee Range.

Hard to get off any kind of shot when a teras kasi master has you on your back, kicking in your face until you're dead.

i luv when people say wow u are using these so called tactics, u must not be fighting any elite people then they put a master bh in front of me and they go down in a few lol and no i am not an exploiter if u were thinkin that i just have been able to practice a lot and come up with my own tactics

Man, all you are really saying is to make yourself a tank and spray and pray for a mind hit. Hardly a viable tactic. Yer either lucky or yer dead.
The only up-side to the point blank specials is that it can help cut thru def mods and as the MBH in your example has none what exactly are you doing? Not to mention the second(s) you wasted with /aim. Again very usefull for cutting thru defensive stackers ( who no longer exsist) but pointless in the example you give.
If your revolutionary advice is to lay on a kd and hit hard then welcome to the pistoleer proff, it's about all we can do effectively and anyone who hasn't figgered this out has moved on to a proff with more tricks of the trade. There are only so many ways to combine both our specials and it ammounts to 3 "tactics": spray and pray ( random ham attacks and hope for enough mind hits), bleed and hack ( healthshot spam. It is our best targeted pool attack now), or wip and hope ( KD and stoppingshot combo) you can mix and match them any way you want but the results are the same.
As to the "get buffs and wear armor" thanx for the tip. Anyone here EVER PvP without armor and buffs if they can help it?
500 points thru armor with a DX2 and multi target? 10-1 the target was wearing faction armor ( no acid layer) try that against comp and get back to me. If you really do think your hitting for 500 then stop lookin in the combat spam, those are the damge numbers BEFORE modifiers like AP and resists, look at the floaty damage flyin off yer targets head.
Do the math lets say you have a nice DX2, not krayted, but nice. Top end 250 ( bein generous here), the "status of specials" thread asks that the damage multiplyer for MTPS be upped to 4.5 so lets say it's 4.0 now ( again being generous) your top end 250*4.0=1000 point hit, now we'll assume your target is naked and give you the bonus %25 for AP1. your shot hits for 1250 before the PvP reduction, 1250*0.25=312.5 points damage, and thats with me tipping the scales in your favor. Get your facts straight before you come swooping in here and save the day with some banal BS like this.
This is long and ranting but it's folks like you that honstly think you kick A$$ that are keeping this entire proff down. Go play another combat proff for a while and then tell me you owned as a pistoleer, or at least try and have a basic understanding of the game mechanics.

No I am plain and simple saying you don't know what you are talking about.
Plus I am talking about elite fighting templates....not a Master BH....
IMO - Elite Fighting Templates are, anything that involved Rifleman / TKA , Fencer/Pistoleer, Fencer/TKA, etc, etc....
Your so called 'tactics' will get you killed in 99% of Melee fights......
...but what do I know...
Don't come here and post its time for me to help all you other people out, and post like you are the end all be all of pistoleers.....because your tactics as I stated are lame and will get you killed 99% of the time.....
Maybe for your avatar they work great....and thats fine, to each their own.....just don't come here and post something like this and believe these 'tactics' will work for everyone....
