Remember they said this would be added down the road, personally i would like to see the moves fixed, and some more weapons. But i think that getting holsters would one of the coolest things.

Yeah I was a little disappointed to see coveted Dev time wasted on fluff features. Holsters and Doc Holliday manuevers are not prominent issues.

I definately think that submitting Holsters and dual wielding pistols to the devs as issues will give them the impression that the pistoleer profession is perfect. They are nice "cosmetic" additions, but there are definately more important issues for our profession. To name a few...

1. Our skill mods are a joke. We need more speed and accuracy mods especially at the master level.

2. Give Master Pistoleers certs for scatter pistol. A Master pistoleer should be able to use ANYTHING that grants pistol xp.

3. Give pistoleers a pistol that is stronger than something a Novice Marksman can get. (Or fix the DX2)

4. DO NOT change disarmshots to damage the weapon instead of the target.

I'm very confident in your abilities to convey the important issues to the Devs, I know you will try to get something worked out Jaegen. Thanks for your hard work.

The Correspondants job isn't to make up a bunch of issues that he feels are most important. If you know what you want fixed, and you did a month ago when they had this thread up, then you should have made your vote and been done with it. That list is old, dated, and it represents what most of the people in the thread wanted. If you don't like that... Then make a vote next time on your top issue list.

The list that was responded to as made over three weeks ago when people were basically just starting to progress up the tree. At the time, very few people had any experience with more than Novice Pistoleer or a couple of Tier 1 skills. They were looking for some "fun factor" things and holsters / twirls was among those ideas. It took the Devs nearly a month to respond to that first list. In the intervening time, many more people have gotten up the tree and seen more issues with it. Even the second list that Jaegen88 tried to submit the next week was significantly different than the first list was. He took the issues that were in the forum during that first week to make what was supposed to be a weekly submission. The Correspondent's program now seems to have evolved into a monthly process instead of a weekly one. The next list he submits will be different and more refined do to the greater experience all of the players have had since the initial one. He only reported was people wanted that first week. Blame the Devs for not responding quicker, not Jaegen88 for what the board basically told him it was concerned about.

CGB,

CGB, I haven't seen you here until recently, I'll try to get you caught up on what's going on:

Please read: (From the developers thread)
Note: #1, they are behind on feedback. #2, instead of weekly it's now monthly.

====================

I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone that this was sent out a long time ago, that is, back when you were still trying to figure out what "AR" meant and where to find the pistoleer trainer.

Please notice that issues post #2 has everything to-date that we found buggy. Once everyone started to make progress in the profession, the feedback started rolling in, great feedback...I think we have a clean list now thanks to everyone's input. In fact, other than removing the word's BH from the post, from what I've read, we haveclose to 100%agreement on the newest issues report.

Now that we have this 1st feedback, we are allowed to send the NEXT issues report. Since the issues #2 wasn't yet looked at, this will be a revision of the issues #2 post. I will go ahead and post that now so anyone can give last minute issues before we send it out.

(there is a feature that allows this, and really, just the new sticky posts are generally where I post issues discussion).

You would see exactly why they developers looked at that issues report and not the one after it. Since I'm here, I'll explain it again. Week #1 they asked for an issues report. This is back when no one had any input on anything. That is, no one even had dodge, much less tested it. No one had data to show BS3 was trash. The only thing we knew was MTPS was broken. Go read the old issues from back then...I didn't see you, nor anyone, with issues other than exactly what got posted. But that changed quickly, we then started testing things and compiled a really good list of issues. No, if you read the preliminary issues lists (it's sticky'd), you'd see that in the many weeks that have gone by since that first issues posts, we have issues clearly outlined, in many cases with test data I took.

--------------------------------------

Andthis was what we did weeks ago, but again, we couldn't send it since they were still looking at issues #1.

The dev's that develop the artwork for twirlies are not the same folks that develop the code for dodge, and special moves.

So realisticaly, they can add the twirlies, AND fix the broke stuff at the same time.

I'd also like to add that the Holster and Gun animations are very valid points and add to the immersion of a player in the character.

Respect the fact that a lot of people brought that up as something they'd like to see in the class. Jaegen responded by putting it on his list.

Holsters would actually be pretty easy IMO. Could be considered a belt that Tailors could make. Give it an item storage of 1 item, or maybe even have dual holsters with an item storage of 2.

Pistol twirling would be fairly easy also, make it just like an emoticon (?) . /lol , /puke , etc.

I think it would be cool for my pistoleer to have a holster too instead of a stupid pocket belt.

I seem to recall seeingole' Jango Fett twirling some pistols somewhere. So, there is a continuity prescedent for it. Oh, but then JF was a BH. So, maybe BHs should get the twirlies instead

Bah, I'm fairly certain that after spending his 217 points Jango took pistoleer. After all, when the space expansion came out for him he had extra points for piloting and such...
