Thread: More on Multi target shot.
Ok i've been using multitarget for a few nights now, and got an idea of how it works. It is a cone shot like paninc and disarm 2.
i'll make a little diagram.
Me = X, mob 1 = A ,Mob 2 = B, Mob 3 = C, Mob 4 = D, Lair = L

I target the lairs and start with Disarm2 to kick the party off. then Hit multitarget once, while lair is main target.
Mulit will cycle thru each mob in list A thru D. and fire 1 or 2 blasts at each mob. Each Mob that multi cycles, thru will Cost you Action ham for each shot Multi does per said mob. (atleast to me it seems that way.)
When multi is Done it stays locked to the last target in the cone aka Mob D. and when you use your next special it will kick back to your original target aka the lair.
What I do not like is if you Use Multi 1 time on a group of 5 you get multiple Action ham costs. per mob it cycles thru. and it hangs on the last target in group, not kicking back to original target.
So instead of One flat ham cost for use, it uses ham per shot on Each target.
I can almost see how this result would happen in a computer program.
That doesn't mean it's not dumb.
Question: Does the targeting weirdness still exist when lairs are not involved? Also, what are the HAM costs like per target?
with out the lair its still the same. staysonthe last target that ends up on. (note it doesn't changet what your main target in combat is)

Action cost is the same as stopping shot, but if you shoot mob A 2 times you get charged action 2 times for it. and on and on till its done cycling thru mobs.
As master i still only use fanshot.
Only shot worth getting.
After they nerfed melee defense i removed it from my toolbars cause it's useless now.
It kills me more times than it saves me because of the actioncosts and NO i refuse to use the Cdef exploit to knockdown things with no costs and then change weapons each 30 sec.
Just go Stances IV.
It's the only attack you will use at master.
Multishot is totally BS and bugged.And so is disarmshot II costs like 200 actionpoints for 500 damage on a FWG 5 79-212 pistol.
I wish i maded a master fencer.
They can do over 3500 damage pr attack on red mobs.
damage is between stopping shot and fan, average with the blaster i'm using is 800's
I'm using a 49ish-140 scout blaster for this.
(cheap on ham can spamn knock down with it)
So far the only issue's I have with multi target so far are these.
A. Each target multi shot cycles thru costs Action ham. I should be a 1 time deduction.
B. It does not cycle thru the targets fast enough. (atleast to me it seems kinda slow)
C. It does not revert back to First target, I stays on last target attacked.
Other then those 3, Multi Target shot is working great for me.

By "working OK", do you mean it's doing damage faster than you could do with fan shot , cycling the targets manually? (Tab, fire, fire, tab, fire, fire).?
I'm finding this to work pretty nicely Riage.
Does it only cycle through mobs that have you aggro'd?
I'm hitting upwards of 1.8K-2K damage and it's fast damage, with a 259 2.1 FWG5.
