nooooooo, you're dragging teh swordsman speedcap questions into teh pistol forums
theres 3 or 4 threads asking about the swordsman speedcp every day

I thought it was 99.
Though, I must admit I was playing with how to hit cap no matter what the weapon (plugged in a 20 second pistol- lol)

Any weapon (no matter the speed) caps at 100. Most Pistoleer weapons cap at 94, I believe.

Which is what sucks because master pistoleers get 74 and the BH dabbler caps and does not have to master pistol.

Exactly right. And a Master Rifleman gets what? +90? Considering the exponential increase in the speed formula this game uses, the difference between +74 and +90 is HUGE!

But BH have to master marksman, which has absolutely zero benifit other than the pre-req for BH

Not entirely useless... You do get Supression Fire, which, when combined with a Dizzy state, can be more useful than a KD move, under the right conditions.
You also get +5 Pistol and Carbine Speed, and a moderate Mind attack, and access to the Jawa rifle as well. Granted, your rifle speed sucks at this level, but you can't have everything, lol.
It's true that Master Marksman isn't nearly as useful as Master Brawler, but it has its uses as well.

You also get some Ranged Defense and Pistol Accuracy with Master Marksman.
