Planet: Dathomir

Missions: Giant Biz Natch

In one 30 minute period, with 2 missions

  • 57,919 pistol xp

  • 6000 combat xp

  • 20000 credits reward

Side benefits:

  • 1700 Dathomir Leathery Hides

  • 4200 Creature Xp using large pets (use small ones for more xp, pets NOT required though)

This is the best ive found, and can go faster if you dont go back to town for missions, but just take out GBN nests you find along the way. Be sure to kill all the GBN's you can from each nest.

Am I right in guessing that Giant Biz Natch's are on the "move really slow" Mob list?

No, they move pretty quick, but if you have knockdown, or pets, then your good, cause they dont defend each other, so you can pick them off one at a time.

What tactic are you using to solo them. I go there but I'm always grouped with others because they are very power beasts. No they are not slow!

I am a medic with good skills, so i use pistolwhip with a fast weapon, and I also health shot I and II them for the added bleed damage

My start macro looks like

/pistolmeleedef1 (three times); /healthshot1; /healthshot2; /healthshot1; /healthshot2; /healdamage self; /pistomeleedef (inf)

Got ya. It is amazing what you can do with knockdown and a healer.

Neo - do you use pets at all? and also what are your medic skills like?

I have everything that you have (cept the medic stuff - I'm just a novice medic with no skill boxes filled) and I can "AT MOST" only get about 50k an hour off these solo. Even if I time my pistol whips perfectly the Baz always gets at least 1-3 shots in and the downtime after soloing these usualy takes an extra min or 2 to get back to full. I have found another method that pretty much kills the downtime but basically takes 3min to kill each Baz. So at most thats 20 baz an hour (never quite works out to be that many though) and they are worth about 3.3k apiece (unless your grouped).

Btw I find that Healshotting over and over is tedious and not needed. What you want to do when you use healthshot is to keep it up until you get a really strong hit for both. Your bleed dmg is still going to be at the same rate and its going to bleed the beast by the amount of your shot. If you keep spamming the key then chances are the beast is going to be bleeding some rounds less than others when it could have been bleeding fine the entire fight. Comprende?

Sometimes I do the basic pistolwhip method but I only do healthshot 2 and 1 until I have hit a good # with both, then I stop doing that since it goes against you if you do it to much.

My other method is simply using warning shot, I stay away at range and just blast them sometimes using specials, most of the time just using the base shot. I'm one box away from stopping shot and once I get that, I assume I will be able to kill these faster. On Flurry though our pistols aren't up to par with most servers (we have a resource issue).

Well the FGW sucks for Action usage, in practice a good sliced scout blaster will do the same damage for about half the HAM cost.

Only reason I was using FWG5 on this thread is because against baz nitches it does full dmg whereas my scout blaster has about 5-10% deducted.
