Pistoleer Archive
Thread: PVP Action template?
Well I am going for master smuggler and pistoleer as well. I don't have the skills yet but I believe that the smuggler specials are the best pistol specials in the game. Depending on your opponent and how vulnerable they are to knockdowns decides whether or not to use low blow. Panic shot and then spamming last ditch seems to be a fairly safe combo. Also I would not reccomend using bleeds in PvP (unless it is a mind bleed) just because they don't do that much damage, there are usually doctors everywhere and while you are using your bleed they could be hitting you with last ditch.
Just some ideas and hints I have seen posted on the forum so they might not be that accurate as I can't test them yet.
My Smugglers combo is
Master Smuggler/Tka 4-4-4-0 Pistoleer with Novice medic.hoping it will do well I've heard great things about the Pistoleer/Smuggler combo so.
And if you wanted you could go 3 Master by not adding Medic skills but I'd be sure to have buffs or a Dr friend near by.

I have a question...
I am pretty new to PVP here...I have been doing PVE mostly but now I have joined a guild that is all about pvp and such..
I have not yet mastered pistoleer but I am close. I have been using the following for PVE:
/warning shot
/health shot 2
/body shot 2
/body shot 2
over and over again. This has worked excellent for PVE.
What is a good combo for action moves forPVP assuming I have the master pistoleer status?
ALSO I am going for master smuggler too...assuming I have both, what is a good lineup for a combonation in action moves that just tears em up??
Thanks a lot I really apreciate the help on this. You will be getting me out of a frustrating hole that i have dug myself into with these dark PVP times.
The one problem with having health shot in there is when you hit with it after it is already in effect, the timer will start over (for example if the enemy's health was about to be taken in a few seconds, and you hit it with another health shot, the timer will start back at the beginning and you'll have to wait longer for the health to be taken).
I'm not 100% positive about this, and haven't tested it, but I have read about it several times. So I would suggest taking the health shot out of that macro (unless you plan to wait for the bleed to wear off before you fire again).
And also make use of the health shots1 and 2 stacking until they fix that ![]()
