Thread: What to use my Krayt Tissue on?

I have Five +40 -.6 Krayt tissues, I am a Master Pistoleer and about to be BH0040. What guns would you guys recommend for using these? If I get a DE-10 or a Geo pistol made I'll probably wait until I have at least +60 or so tissues...hrm. Any suggestions?

Throw them in something simple like a DX2 or Modified Republic Blaster

You can make 2 geo pistols with these, I would definetly opt for that, if not do a de-10 since speed is irrelavent with your template.

I don't think you could make two geos with only 5 tissues. If I recall one of them alone is 4 tissues.
For run of the mill tissues like +40's I would make some standard regular use guns like a republic of DX2. Save the great tissues for the DE10's and genosians.
Last time I got my hands on some normal +35's I actually had SR combat pistol made, and a metal DL 44

I had 5 plus 60 -.5 speed tissues. I put them into two repubs.AndI got a post nerf dmg sliced repub blaster doing around370 dmg max.

The best all around thing to put hose in would probably be scatter pistols. For a standard weapon, anything in the marksman line isn't really worth krayting, and the scatter is basically just a DX2 except better. Also, it takes one tissue to krayt a scatter, and 5 I think to krayt a DX2. You're right about the DE-10 and Geo pistol. You should wait till you get somereally great tissues to krayt those.

The weaponsmith builds "Blaster Power handlers" (preferably the Advanced version) into every blaster, its a required component.
The Power Handlers do have an optional component "Power handler enhancement" (or something), can be built without that, but you can place the Krayt Tissue in it. After that the Krayted Power Handlers are built into the gun and the gun gets a lot better than when you use normal Power Handlers
Some pistols use only 1 power handler, others use 4, and the T21 rifle even needs 10.
Since you need identical Handlers you need an extra tissue for the schematic whenever the gun needs more than 1 handler.
Geo Blaster uses 4 Power Handlers, so you need 5 tissues

Hmmm, so would it be possible to make a Republic Blaster and a Scatter?

i'd either use these in a dx2 (which takes 5 tissues) or a republic and two scout blasters (republic takes 3 tissues and scouts take one each).

Scouts would be irrelavent to make, as I will be BH0040 to add to my Master Pistoleer, thus having plenty of speed and accuracy, plus the fact I am almost always buffed if hunting or PvPing.
