Thread: What specials are broken ATM?
I use body shot, double tap,health shot, and stopping shot.On lairs disarming shot is great.
I don't get fan shot. I thought it used to hit multiple targets, now it says it hits one target multiple times. But there is a new multi target shot at master, which Im not. Fan shot does not seem as good as the specials at lower levels.
Well they are all broken in one respect or another. Fanshot is really only useful for if you have a tank or a group and you are racking up experience, because it doesn't kill very quickly. Stopping shot has the same problem but it is worse, because not only is it random HAM, but it only attacks a single target. Double Tap is a joke. Our best special for soloing is Body Shot 3, which is probably only useful for you at master level.
But dodge is working. Not as well as eye shotting a target to blind it, but it is working. And the whole "sidestep" animation while on the move (which stops you, hindering your mobility) is supposed to get fixed real soon.

i figured out why! MD 2 hits for more damage, its discription does not say knocks down, or better chance to... MD2 is for use after you hit with MD1... get the idea?

As you can see, most of them have never been effective.
Actually wouldn't use disarming shot against lairs, it seems to have a slight area effect. I was shooting at a Baz Nitch lair today, and there were two nightsister rangers nearby and as I was alone, hitting them would be bad. The lair was dead without them being disturbed so I should have been patient, but I wasn't, so I used disarming shot with the lair targeted and sure enough, hit the nightsister ranger as well. So, wouldn't recommend disarming shot for lairs unless there's nothign around for miles.

Umm you must have hit fan shot, maybe
And of course I have not gotten BS3 and it doesn't work nearly as good as it's worth. Guess I shouldh have gone for Fanshot first. Who knew.
