Hi,
Used to be TKM, Master Medic, some Artisan
and Being TKM i could kill jantas no probs
But after a while (3months) that template got boring so i have decided to go Master Pistoleer, BH xx4x, Fencer X34x
Just wondering if this template can kill janta as good as TKM, M Medic and if its any good for PvP?
(also, is i better to go Fencer or Smuggler...there seems to people saying both)
Thanks for any help

Have you read the Dev notes on the patch for test center? We might not be grinding jantas for much longer.
In the meantime, you can just swoop up to the lair, target it and play a Multi Target Pistol Shot looping macro.
The move is bugged but it will clear the Jantas out while you do something else.
It's a LOT slower than TKM though.

A lot slower means A LOT SLOWER!
I mastered pistoleer recently and it took me a while (3333) until i could do Janta missions with confidence (*note confidence=not getting killed too often). Make sure you use the right weapon ( I used my Geo) against the Janta, then switch to the most appropriate weapon for the lair (I used one of my krayt pistols).
I primarily used my Health Shots (stacked) and took out the Janta one by one, then the layer.
Just my 2 cents, I'd love to hear from others how they do it.

Personally, I found it very easy to take them down, well the lair anyway. Just get your buffs and armour on, get a good 200-250 max damage scatter and spam their lair with stopping shot or, if you have it, last ditch. Their lair will go down quicker than anythingthen you just got on your bike and leave with 10 jantas/mokks chasing you

Fanshot works pretty well with janta/mokks.
they are slow so just keep running back and forth and you'll kill all them and the lair in under a minute

I'm confused... what's happening?

basically, if you do a 20k mission in a solo group of 20 people you only get your share of the payout (1k) no matter whether anyone is in range of you or not. the Spawn of the lair and the xp per NPC will not change.

Oh hell yeah. I start out at max range and use a modified rep. blaster and use fan shot on a group, then switch to my scatter. Just kite them around for a bit. easy xp. I get around 160k xp at the janta cave.

As others have said, kite useing Fan Shot with a Geo and then Stopping Shot the lair with anything else. I do notice that Mokks knock me down once in a while.

380 damage republic blaster(which are easy to get if you buy a couple to slice and get good powerups) , Desperado, stopping shot, and a full suit of composite armor.

Cave? He's talking about the 30K+ Janta missions you can get on Dantooine if you are in a solo group.
These can pull in about a million creds an hour, but there are steps being taken to nerf them.
It seems SoE have decided that this is far too much money for a player to earn and have made it so that you can no longer get the full 30k payment for yourself, it will be split with the group, but if there are no other members in range, you will receive a percentage based on how many people you were grouped with when you got the misson from the terminal.
This is in testing at the moment and we may be seeing this in Live in a few weeks.
