Hey All, is it just me or does Fan shot NOT work against creatures? I was hunting Pikets today, with a republican blaster, and fan shot was just hitting one at a time. Earlier, I used it against a mob of Mokk hunters and it worked fine. Whats the deal? Is it my Republican Blaster or what?

The Republican Blaster only works if youopen theRush Limbaugh chat channel.

That makes sense..because when I attacked the Mokk's I used an FWG5, but then switched to a Repub Blaster with the pikets..Weird, thanks

Ok this is just idioticly ridiculous..I'll have 3 pikets on me, FAN shot, and it still only hits 1 at a time, what's up guys?

I use FanShot on groups if Mtn. Squills all the time, and it works perfectly fine. Don't know what's causing it to not work for you.

piket usually run all around you when attackin, they gotta be together in a 45 degree cone to be hit by the fan shot, so i would run and let em get together behin you while following

doesnt fan shot hit one target? I thought 'multi-target pistol shot' was the multipile target thingy...also...is it just me or does pistol melee def 2 NOT do a KD?

Most of the special moves don't do anything useful, if they work at all. As you'll read, two of the three you just mentioned simply don't do anything.

FanShot works fine on Pikets for me ... just make sure they're all close together so they're within the arc.

I keep telling you man... I swear to you it works for me, with a republic blaster, a DX2 and an FWG5. Area affect hit on creatures and npc's as well as players.

There are two ways to know if its working... check the damage ham bars of things around you which you are not aiming at,

find a non-mobbing group of creatures and shoot one of them, if three attack you, you know you hit all three with that one shot.

Fan shot is a cone attack on multiple targets, trust me I've found myself under attacks of MoB's I've accidentaly hit using the shot.

The Republic Blaster has an insane range, but up close, I find I miss a lot. Your -50 up close, whereas scouts and FW's are +30 or +40. You MIGHT be missing your secondary targets.

Just a guess though.
