I am currently using mouse and keyboard control to control my ship. The accuracy is just unbeatable for me. Only issues are...
1) I can't seem to execute a toolbar button while in "mouse flight mode". I have to hit ALT, thereby showing the toolbar and then hitting the CTRL-F1 or clicking the button with my mouse, then hitting ALT again to go back to flying. Only problem with this is that I'm left flying straight forward and vulnerable when doing this. I'd like to be able to fly with my mouse and hut CTRL-F1 without leaving mouse mode flight. Does this make sense?
2) I don't have a POV Hat option anymore. It would be so great if I could toggle a "mouselook" key, look around and toggle back. For the time being, I'm targetting an object and using the Camera Lock function to see things that are not in front of me.
Any suggestions for getting these things done in better ways would be greatly appreciated.

Oh man...I have to bump. Does this mean that most of you are using a Joystick?

I may be set up differently as I use a stick and throttle but no matter what mouse mode I'm in I can activate a toolbar button by just pressing F1-F12 Shift+F1-F12 for the second row.
I thought ctl+F1-F6 switched which of the 6 toolbars you want to use.

I have a mouse & speedpad setup. Joystick's too herky jerky for me in SWG... Never had an issue with the toolbar. I only use one (per ship) though so I'm not switching between them... I do miss the PoV hat, but a rear view is enough for the moment.

Ok, my problem was the keybindings. They are working now no matter what mode I'm in. Thanks for the help.
