Thread: Can I do the Heavy X-Wing mission if I am a Freelance Pilot?

A friend of mine wants the heavy x-wing but does not have the ROTW expansion. So I was wondering if its possible to do the quest and receive the heavy x-wing so that I can give it to him. I doubt you could since the winner would not be certified for it but it is worth asking anyway. Thanks.

You'd need to be reb on the ground. Your friend would not be able to use it without the quest's finishing badge.

Actualy, freelance pilot doesn't give out the cert for the Heavy X, so you could do the mission, and get the X, but you wont have cert for it. It does sell for some good buck though, since its a good ship and people like to have spares.

You can actually use it without the badge. I gave one to Akyma on Bria after her quest bugged and she could use it fine. You just need at least 5 generic badges ingame to be able to use it.

thats great news! so my next few questions are 1.) do I have to be rebel overt to start it? 2.) where do i go to start it? =)
