IMO they should make both of them invincible and have them give out special duties that take place inside DS as well as give a one-room first-load-space-station-esque landing zone where missiles/countermeasures could be reloaded or components switched out.
The destructions shouldn't effect the spawns - those should be randomly spawned from RANDOM zones, and while they're at it, they should make sure the flight paths NEVER intersect the ISD for OBVIOUS reasons.

Don't even reply to this, just let it die. The FS proponents can SMELL sympathizing threads and use them as springboards for WEEKS.

Actually, the first thing I do upon entering Deep Space most of the time is to head over to the ISD and strip its weapons off. (All except 0,1, 7, and 8--they can't be touched.) It preventsmost major lag in the system. When new Alliance pilots enter the system, I usually ask them to leave the ISD alone. Most do.

I just look forward to the day where I can put the ...Has mastered the Pilot profession in my sig. I'm 1 down, 1 3/4 done, and the rest still waiting.... And I hope that JtL NEVER becomes a viable way to gain FS XP...
