is there a good way to powerlevel pilot?
If so, I'd like to hear it.

There really isn't one. Especially since it is mostly mission driven. You also get one Tier 1 skill for free and all of the Tier 3 skills for free.

Why does everyone feel the need to level as quickly as possible?
Sit back, enjoy it for what it is, and use the learning curve as you should.
Yes, I'm aware, you probably just want the bigger ships...

You group. And I don't mean those silly solo groups. You group and work together. It allows you to tackle ships that are tougher so you can get more xp *and* the group xp system is different in space. Anyone in a group who does 5% damage to a target gets full xp when the target is destroyed.
The ideal way to advance is to group up with someone who is a tier or two higher(yes, not possible right now because we are all starting
) then have that higher level person run duty missions. You get a group of 3 or 4 together and just do the endless duty missions for xp.
Also, tier 3 and the master box require no xp. It's just mission based advancement.
So, solo if you like, its doable. But, its going to be faster if you group and play nice with others
And, either way just take your time and enjoy it.

It will be easy to group also at first. If you played during launch, everyone was grouping with one another to go out and hunt 'the big prey' (which we only Banthas
). I'm sure it will be no different here and you'll have people in Coronet looking to group with others to get things accomplished.

This is the way it should be. My guild is going to try and get a squad or 2 set up and we'll go out and reck havoc.... soloing should be the slowest way to level and some things shold not be soloable, dragons, ships of the line... .

Lets say you get powerleveled to ace.
What do you intend to do then?
There is no post ace content to speak of unless you like REing parts. Take your time, the missions you have to do, ARE your content. Theres really not much else to do.

Sorry!
I saw Treena's post about the few that had been dug up already and couldn't resist scrolling back to the oldest on this whole forum.
