Ok so I finaly looted a 27k mass level 8 shield. Should I hold out for something lower . Or should I go ahead and do the renegenering thing with the Reward shield? thanks for the input.

If you don't have a level 8 REed shield yet, probably. If you do have one already that you are using, I'd hold off for lower.

This will be my first try . I have two of the 2400+shields so I will have a spare to keep looking. So I was trying to decide if I should hold out for lower or go for it and make do with what I have.

27k mass is pretty good. I have never looted lower myself, although they exist. My first reward shield REd to 30k mass, I've been trying to loot a better mass one ever since.
