Just a quick question in the hope that somebody might have the answer to hand. How many items can a Y8 mining vessel hold. I mean items as in a house, not how much it can hold in its cargo hold. Sorry if this has been asked before but I searched the forums to no avail.

i recall reading somewhere it will hold at least as much as a small house (200 items). Maybe as much as a large, but i am not positive.

yea 100, i tried deco'ing it (even with the bug) and couldnt really do anything with it cuz its so large so so few items

I just started back to SWG and I probably missed the discussion. But, have the Devs said anything about upping the limit on that? I have no problem giving up lots for a comparable increase in item limit. Has the question even been brought to them?

I wonder what the rationale is in putting such a low limit on it, compared to the other POBs.

The other POB ships have the same 100 limit. I'm sure the reason it is so low is because of the possibility of just using the ships as extra storage and the problems that would cause the database.

The Sorosuub Yacht is definitely not 100 items.
I never decorated my Decimator though, so not sure about that one.

It is 100. I tried using my yacht to store my gear after transfering servers. It wouldn't let me drop the 2nd full backpack (102 items including packs).

Item limits were raised some months ago after repeated requests by the community. They were raised from 75 items a lot (with a 250 cap) to 100 items a lot (with a 400 item cap). At that time, POB ships took up one lot, so their item limit was set to 100. I doubt we'll see any raises in the item limit again soon.
As for the 100+ item sorusuub: consider yourself lucky, you've got a bug working in your favor. Don't come complaining here when items start disappearing from your ship though.
