Thread: Cockpit frame OFF!!

I was reluctant to try this, because it does not seem as real without the cockpit frame. I did try it though, and I will never turn the frame back on. You have SOOOO much more visablity and I kill much faster. This is especially helpfull in the Greivous, you have alomost no visability with it in that ship. I highly reccomend giving it a shot.

It sucks because I'd rather have it on, its more realistic, but some of the cockpit designs are freakin terrible.

wait a tic, you can turn it off? or is this just another way of saying "zoom out"?

I think its in the Misc options. Turn the cockpit off. Feels like you're in Wonder Woman's invisible airplane.

I've played with it off. I couldn't stand out stupid it looked. Didn't even look like I was flying. Just a camera sailing through space. I leave mine on. No exceptions.

Yeah, but on the other hand its nice to see what is in front of you rather than what is above you. Some of the ships have pretty bad field of view. Maybe they can give artisans a new schematic for phone books you can sit on to actually see over the dashboard.

Yeah. I want to be immersed in the environment. If i choose to fly a grievious ship, I'd have the cockpit on as well. I fly a rihx with cockpit on and i do just fine.

I would have every cockpit frame on except for the fact that they all seem "jumpy" on my screen. Truthfully I usually fly in third person as I like to watch my ship as I am taking things out.
