ok, I just triedthe corvetteand no matter what I do the shield never drops below 100% (not talking about the priamry and secondary shield generators).

I have tried sitting directly behind the engine and trying to take out gun 5 aswell (which usually results in a quick death ) but no matter how many times I hit the damn thing the shields never drop.

Bug or am I being stupid??

u cant do a corvette same was as any ship u have to aim for the guns not aby where on ship

u hitting at back all u do dmage to is engs iof shiled Gs r down and duno why but u not hit shileds or armor

Kodpese,

First off don't worry about the Shield rating. Destroy the shield generators. Then you just have to target the engine to disable it. You have to cycle through all the guns to get to it. The Shields... For some reason really don't effect much when you are just hitting a spefic area like the Generators and the Engines.

I think you make a mistake.

- Go after the corvette, (at the blind spot). Dont destroy any weapons of the corvette, you need them later.

- If you are now sitting after the engine, you can target the shields but you can't shoot them with your laser weapons.

- You have to use Missels, or better proton torpedos to destroy the shields.

- After that you can shoot the engine down with your laser.

- Stay at the blind spot until the corvette is captured.

- if the corvette is captured you have now a full opperable corvette with all weapons, thats helps many.

the last time I did this mission I took gun 5. Which magically appeared after it was captured.

If you don't have/use missles, you can take out the shields with blasters by coming at the vette from the front. It'll take some practice to be able to get out in front, turn, and stay below it the entire time, but you can line up and if you move in at a crawl that will give you time to blast both shields in one pass.
