Thread: so sorry.. noob questions... (i know, they are annoying...)

ok, total noob, never played, just started. Anyway heres what it boils down to: I dont know much, but heres what I want to do: Get an X wing. I know I need to go up the tech/skill tree but I'm having problems:
I have completed the duty missions in Mos Espa, got transfered to Yavin 4, but when I am there, I am getting worked, and end up needing to spend a bit of time searching for a doctor afterwards. Istill have my Z wing, but I also have a basic Y wing, but it flies like a steak house. So, in order to progress, where do I need to go? What am I doing wrong? Please, any advise! I'm on the Scylla server... (Damn my cursed looser friend who picked a ghost server...)

ps. oh, and if anyone has a good rebel piloting guild, then please send me an email! or if you have a lvl 2 weapon component. cuz im using my old prototype lasers still! I can solo a Tier 3, but it takes a long time!!

Two hints: Friends and Droid Commands.
Get friends to help you with your missions, it helps a TON.
Droid Commands can help take a sluggish engine and make it much smoother and faster. I think there's a sticky in the forum about using Droid commands.

Also, If you are still useing your beginner Z-95, it has no mass cabability(very little actually). What you may want to do as an alternative to the sluggish Y-wing, is buy a Z-95 from a shipwright, it will have better mass abd you will be able to put better components in it. Hope that helps.

Get a z-95 heavy. they are expensive (500k on FarStar), so get a loan from a friend if you can. It has 96k mass and will take you thru to level 3xxx so you can get a X-Wing.
