I found a toy I'm thinking of purchasing, but wanted to get some feedback from other players on this before I bother with it. Any of you lot out there use a product like this? TrackIR 3 Pro Head Tracker

Now why would I want to publicly let everyone know (specifically potential Eclipsian opponents) exactly what my ship is equipped with?

I can neither confirm nor deny the fact that a lot of DS farmers are going to be pissed off in the next few weeks.

For Lock On and Falcon 4.0: Allied Force, yeah.

For JTL, nuh uh.

GoGamer.com is probably the most reliable place to buy this at, and they occasionally have a coupon deal.

Plus they carry the vector expansion module, which is not very widely supported right now, but pretty much every new flight sim coming out is planned for it.

They also have this, which I've wondered might be an easier alternate control system than a Nostromo...

Cool thanks Kayl, are you saying this would be a no-go for JTLS though? or just haven't used it with this game?

Proper Link

It's a lame name (search for "Cyber Snipa PC" if that link doesn't work), I know, but if you examine it, it appears to have a key for pretty much everything you'd need in JTL.

As for my JSF, she's about to undergo quite a nice overhaul, which may very well make her even more lethal than Tomo's.

In the meantime, I've been screwing around with a nice Oppressor, as a two-gun prototype for a future tri-L10 Krayt. The testbed alone is capable of twice the damage of my current JSF config, and it already has two unexpected PvP kills, because I can unleash both L10s in a manual staggered fire configuration...

...plus hitting anything with either of these weapons equals instant death, as both are over .8xx/.8xx.

lol ... well mainly I just wanted to get an idea of what level guns you have and what lvl engine... I have a prenerf inferno @ 9k mass... working on the perfect borstel kit... just trying to see what is possible/feasible

at this point I'm wondering if I should try for 2 good borstel RE's with the inferno, or go for a good lvl 6 mated with the borstel... and use a hot rodded nym's reward engine. I managed to find a lvl 8 reward sheild already RE'd for a whooping 50k credits weighing in at 24k mass as well... the drain sucks on it as it's up around 2.5k (I have 2 untouched lvl 8 reward sheilds that I can hopefully make even better than this one, I know already I can have the drain down as low as 2k.. just looking for the low mass to mix with it).

I ended up with a decent Ion Driver... but from the looks of the other lvl 7 guns I have it looks like I'd be better off with a nice lvl 6/8 spread instead due to efficiencies vs shields/armor

Advice?
