I don't know if its just me bugged, or if its everybody. (I admit, I only went through 3 pages on the bugs thread)
When I try and paint my Y-8, it only gives me yellow as a color choice. No other color. This is on primary and secondary colors. Is it just me, or has nobody cared to try painting it?
Oh, and just to keep it from being asked, I know about the first 3 ships can only be painted bug. I deeded my arc before I unpacked the y-8 so I can try and paint it. Thanks for the help

I wasn't even aware you COULD use paint kits on it at all, I thought it was unpaintable...

The Y-8 only has one color choice and it is probably a bug. I doubt the Y-8 is even supposed to be paintable in the first place. It is supposed to have an industrial look since it is a mining ship and not a pleasure yacht.

considering that the y-8 mission is bugged (you can no longer get it), furniture can't move up or down inside of it, and it's the worst mining ship ever--
i think it's safe to say that the devs have "given up" on it. at least for the time being.

I wasn't able to 'get' it either when I earned it today. Then, I decided to switch views, to that horrible inventory view. It literally appeared out of nowhere when I did that. Anybody else having the problem of not getting it in their inventory might want to try that out. Let us know if it works for you too like it did for me.

People arent able to get it because of a mission bug, not a problem with the inventory.

oh. Because it never showed up in my inventory at all. I tried logging, still didn't help. Then when I changed view, thats when it magically appeared. I thought others might be having the same problem. Sorry I misunderstood the bug.

I can verify that there can be times where something will not appear in inventory, but switching inventory views will make that item visible and usable... It didn't happen to me with the Y-8, but it has happened recently with some other items.

I'm not sure if the yellow-only paint is a bug or not. Back when JtL was in BETA testing, all paint kits had only the yellow color, which was a bug and was later fixed. So it may be the same for the Y-8.
The ship has so many bugs it isn't funny. So I wouldn't doubt that the painting of it is bugged too.
Though I know I was pretty disappointed when I found out I couldn't paint it.

This happens to me too (not seeing something in my inventory). If I enlarge the inventory window the items will appear in it. Funny that things don't appear when I scroll down though.
