Thread: Space is messed up!!!!!!!!!!!

space is messed up.
I took a tier 2 imp pilot mission, i had to kill 3 enemy ships. i killed 2 before my time ran out, and i had 30mins, thats a long time. the reason was not that i didnt do enough damage it was that i could not hit target, why?, i will tell you, because the mouse is so sensative that i just move it a bit, and my aimer completely moves of target.
How do i reduce the sensativity, i tried doing it in options, but it never seemed to make a diference.
Also with my new tie/in i lag in space, in my light tie, i never used to lag, whats going on plz help

Ditch the mouse, get a joystick, you'll love it - you can get an "okay" joystick for $10-$15. As for the sensitivity, someone was just asking about that the other day, do a search. I believe they found the solution somewhere in the options, turning down the sensitivity, or mouse acceleration, or something.
Changing ships shouldn't make you lag more. You are possibly flying in a different system, some sectors have more lag than others. Or the famous key of time to reboot your computer and reset that system memory.

Ctrl-O for the Options Menu -> Controls tab and Interface tab both have a lot of the settings you can use to adjust mouse dead zone and sensitivity...........
Perhaps,,,,,,,,,,, since so many people are successful in space,,,,,,,,,,, that (((((((((((just maybe))))))))))) it's not space that is messed up,,,,,,,,,,, but you???????????

What are you on? Dial-up? It takes me longer ro land and run get a new mission than it does to actually DO the newb pilot missions. Space if fine. Look elsewhere for the problem.

Truth be told, for me the asteroid areas can get pretty laggy, and I'm on ADSL. I have to wonder if SOE gives much thought to lag...

that nebula at dathomir makes it lag so bad for me even if i lower the nebula density 
although i used to play flight sims alot a few years ago.. i cant seem to settle in with the joystick here.. flying with mouse and keyboard works just fine for me

Mouse, did you say a mouse!
Did Luke, Han, Wedge, Corran, Tycho, Wes, Hobbie, Myn, Kell, Vader, Fel, Ketch, use a mouse, NO!
Ketch used prosthetics, but no mouse! That should tell you something right there!
