Hiya all. I'm looking for links toward droids and their usage on ships. Went thru the FAQ and didn't quite find out what i was looking for. I've an Astromech that i'm qualified for, and when i try to add it to my ETA, i get the message: "This flight computer/Astromech will not be able to control your ships subsystems until you install a droid command interface." I've a droid interface on my ship, and still get that message. Do i need to acquire a flight comp? Also, the droid shows up in graphics when i'm in space and look back on the ship. One other thing, (sorry such a long post), Once in space, do droids automatically carry out the program orders, or do you have to command them to do it.

Well, I know for a fact that Eta-2s only accept astromech droids. I don't know if these directionswill help ya, but it's all I can think of at the moment:
- a droid interface component on your ship
- the astromech (be sure that you can control it, you didn't mention your current pilot status, so if you're 4xx3 you can control level 4 astromechs, at 4xx4 you can control level 5 astromechs, and master lvl 6)
- Be sure that it is a space-able astromech, and not a storage astromech or anything else.
- It could also happen that the game is not recognizing your interface as installed, though I've never heard of such a bug. Try removing it and putting it back on.

Thank ya kindly folks. The links and info are most certainly appreciated. My flight status btw is 4/4/4/4, jus working on the grind first. Waitin on the mis's till a later date. LOL
