I had several spare resource deeds and decided to see what the fastest engine I could craft would be. I have no SEAS, but crafted with the best resources ever available on Lowca. I crafted a level 7 engine with top speed of 99.9 (or 109.9 I can't remember the level 7 engine too well) and 119.5 for the level 9 engine. Each engine had p/r of about 63, and yaw of 61. Has anyone looted engines faster than these, or purchased engines faster than these. I am just curious.

119.7 is the cap I believe for engines, and crafted engines are fastes. There is however a very detailed bug that allows one to move past 5120 speed and have insane maneuverability.

Yeah, I saw the video of that, it was hilarious.
I guess either way, .2 from the cap isn't bad considering the resources I had to deal with on Lowca.

Couldn't be more true. I've only just made Ace a few days ago but its already blatently apparent that RE'd equipment is the only way to go. Especially with engines. Your PYR speed will make or break you in PvP.I'm really considering dropping my ground template all together and picking up shipwright. Though I would hate to be nder CL80. Hmmm.

jerks..ive had 8 lvl 10 engines for a month, YPR's in the 76-77, but only an 88.2 top speed..guess id better hold out for a high 90 speed if they still drop, seems like everyone else is getting them.

Top speed is nice, but I'll gladly trade the 16 points of top speed for the additional 20 I get to P,Y, and R on my L10 RE engine

Speed is nice for decimators and y-8 ships, which will handle like a boat regardless of what you put in them. But yeah y/p/r is usually the more important stat. I was just curious to see what could be actually made by myself.
