OK so I've been playing for many many moons, but never posted until now. I have to say that I only started playing JtL when I was required to do some space elements for a ROTW mission, and I got hooked. Pretty much I only place in space now, and I have found it to be much more interesting than the ground game.

Having said that, I've mastered a few squads already, and i'm planning to roll through all of them eventually. Along the way I've started playing a little game, and I wondered if anyone was doing the same. The game is very simple - how far up can you go in your squad in your starter ship - not the heavy started ships of 90k mass, but the 12k mass or whatever your squad may have.

Best I was able to do in my 12k scyk (crafted, not from the trainer) was 2322 in RSF Privateer.

Anyone else try this? How far have you made it?

Way back when JTL came out i stayed in my Z-95 until 2222 (this is without being able to change components) then used a y-wing for the 3222 mission and switched straight to an x-wing which i then used to master rebel ace and had it until a few weeks ago, when i upgraded to heavy x

Actually i think i bought a z-95 so i could use looted components nm

Haha! Sucker....welcome to the fold!

I tried this once, I think with Inquisition. Honestly, I got bored with how slow the ship was, I can't stand the five minute flights to a waypoint.

I went to 2211 CorSecin my trainer ship. Only because Ifelt like too much of a newbto ask somebody how to get a new ship. Probably why it took so long for me to ace.
