Hi guys... I am a Freelance Pilot .... not aligned with anyone on the ground !
Simply have 1000 Imp and 111 Rebel Faction ! I know NOTHING about faction stuff
or rebel or IMP, simply play the game completely neutral !
HOWEVER ... if I wish to join the rebels or neutral on the ground to do missions Covert OR Overt,
DOES this MESS UP my FREELANCE PILOT ???
DOES IT GET ZAPPED ?????
Can I still be REBEL on the ground and FREELANCE in space ?
Thanks
Elvar

If you're a freelance pilot, you can be any faction you want to be on the ground.
Be aware that if you're an RSF pilot, you can't shoot Imperial Ships, which makes going for the ARC-170 a bit interesting.
Also: less capslock

Ahhhh TY ! But one more question from your answer !
RSF PILOT ??? MMMMM ! I just did Dravis, Shamdon, Dude in Jabbas, and now onto Dath trainer !
How do I know who I'm aligned with as a freelance / privateer or do I control this myself !
Have had no prob doin all my Tier 4 missions, in fact 95% if them are Imp Destroy Missions !
Thanks for the reply btw ![]()

you're Smugglers Alliance, then. You can shoot at anyone in space (except hutts, occasionally) but you'll be sent to kill the Imperials when you get to the master missions.
Basically you'll be able to work on any of the ship quests, so long as your ground faction is right for them.
