I've been able to solo all my missions thus far, but this mission seems impossible.

The first time I tried to atteck the Inquisitor first and was torn to shreds. The next time I went after his escorts and got two of them before getting torn apart.

Both times after being destroyed (or ejecting) I re-spawn at the Yavin spacestation surrounded by about 20 tier 4 Inquisitor guards.

Is there anyway to solo this mission.

BTW, I tried to search the forums but the search function is disabled as usual.

Not easy to solo, just need to get some practice on taking out Aggressors first.

When I did it, I took out the leader, IFF scrambled and ran to the next leg. leaving the escort alone.

Tips for Aggies:

Stay focused, dont let the turret fire throw off your aim. Target his special weapon and keep shooting until it's gone.

Jousting isn't really an option in this mission, because that involves slowing and letting him come to you, and then the escort tears you up.

You'll be taking fire from all sides, as the escort hits you from behind and the turret hits from the front. Shield shunt is great, but I solo'd this before it even existed so it's not a necessity. I did use the Rebel program to shift shield from back to front when I did this, but that was before I knew much about aggressors, and I took more hits than I needed to. Learn to drift around as you chase him, if you follow in a perfect curve behind and above him, the turret gets a solid lock and hits more often, drift around, and score hits from directly behind if you can, and you'll see the gun missing a lot more.

It's one of the hardest Rebel mission segments, no doubt. Knowing what I do about gear and programs now, I'd have a much easier time, but when I did it during my first trip to Ace I got a warm glow from making it out alive. (no armor, but alive)
