Thread: Need help with a Tier 3 Freelance Mission

this one they tell me to go to Yavin and lead this freighter so it wont be taken by Rebels. I have tried it 4 times and each time the result was the same : Mission Failure, Got too far off course


Ok, what I am I doing wrong? I admit that I am having issues killing the rebs (they got serious sheilds). I have only had to eject once, was near the end when i got jumped by 5 of them, since have upgraded my shields.


Is there any tip or trick to the mission??

Motherboard: Asus K8V-X Se
CPU: AMD 64 3200+ (2.2 Ghz)
RAM: PNY PC3200 1GB
VIdeo: Sapphire Tech Radeon X1600 512MB AGP
Sound: SB PCI550 (basic sound card)

Yeah, always stay within a couple km of the transport. You're probably getting too far away while dogfighting. Even if you have to break off an attack and get back closer to the transport, do it.


Also, go for the engines and disable the fighters. Spawns should slow down some, and its quicker than going for the kill.
