Yes, this has prabably been asked, but, here goes: Can the Starmap loot quest be done with an account without ROTW activated? My primary account w/ the expansion is a crafter and has combat next to nothing.

Nope, as the walkthroughs say, phase 2 is on Kashyyyk, and requires killing Trando slavers.

As for your crafter, find a helper or a combat type doing the quest at the same time.

Buffing foods, defense foods, and a hit from an Aurillan health buff crystal should make your crafter tough enough fort he spider cave run.

The cult spider cave isthe really tough part of the quest. There are level 84 NPCs in there. Go with a strong group or a modest group with a Jedi for best results.

FYI:The starmap piece is at -971 6173 on a skeleton labeled "human body".

The ability to repeat was a bug that was fixed.

The spider cave is a tough place if you want to fight, but laughably easy if you just BurstRun in, which is what 99% of people are doing. So "best results" is actually a buffed health bar and a good pair of sneakers.

You must be messing with me....That waypoint is on the north end of the map. I heard it was right outside of Narmele.

He's talking about the 3rd piece of the map you get on Dathomir. The start of the quest is in Narmle.

And you can burst run down to where the skeleton is and get the map piece. I did and only got aggroed near the entrance, when my burst run ran out.

It's substantially easier if you have no or positive Spiderclan faction...

...but seeing how popular Nightsisters were pre-CURB, very few people who would end up doing this quest would be.

Additionally, a CL1 crafter can't burst run into this cave and live - the spiders are definitely high-level content and would kill/incap a CL1/single-master pretty easily.

Best advice is to armor up, buff up, and run like hell. Cloning is currently bugged, so to clone on Dath, you need to target the machines and manually type /clone to register your information so you don't wake up with 5% decay and a possible cybernetic limb you'd need replaced.

Of course, it begs the question......

...what if you were transporting someone who didn't have ROTW, then landed at Kachiro? Would it just kick the person back to the starport they launched from, or not even allow them to enter Kash space?
