I wouldn't call any of that loot junk by any means, but I wouldn't call it the best in the galaxy either.

Even though the shield is level 8, I believe it RE's at level 7, so you combine those hitpoints with a level 7's lower mass to get a worthy shield. Some would argue that crafted shields are easier to get, but if you RE that shield right you can do it with less mass and half the reactor drain.

The level 8 engine has really good speed, but I've seen this very engine also go as high as the low to mid 90's in speed. Having said that, it's still faster than almost any other post-nerf level 8 engine that I've seen. I'd hang on to it and have it reverse engineered.

I'd have to see more stats on the weapon to tell you how good it is. From what I do see, the weapon is pretty good.

So really you don't have anything here that you would really want to throw in your fighter just yet, but to the right shipwright or pilot they're pretty valuable.

The starmap weapon usually has a really nice vs. sheild stataround 0.75.

Remeber. you lived in a time of kiwi.

The shield is a level 7 and will RE to a 5% bonus to all stats. Got mine up to 2000+ f/b, mass of 17k and recharge of 13+. Only shield better is the level 8 reward shield and the mass is nothing close in comparison between the 2. You got a slower engine, as a lucky small amount of people have gotten an engine w/ speed of 99+ (mine is 96.9).

yeah the stats on these components are variable. i got one similar for the engine but my fiance got one with the same ypr mass (roughly) but it had a top speed of 96.4(!). I compared all the other rewards we got and none of them had the same stats. But all of these are good keeper loots that can make a big difference when doing an RE job. I'd definently keep them.
