I finally did it. I finally get 4444 pilot and I think, cool, now for the Kessell stuff, and a Vette... np. Wrong!

Granted, it was easy for the Bothan Ships, and I got those out of the way, and the escort, np... but then that final leg and omfg... 3 gunboats, and the escort. Needless to say I lasted about 4 minutes.

Ok, what am I supposed to do? It is next to impossible to concetrate on a single gunboat, and if I dare slow down to take out the Y's and B's then I am dog food. How did you people solo this mission.

This mission is over Dantooine, and it is Storm Squadron. I have tried multiple times with the same result.

SS is pretty easy. If I remember correctly they normally throw a few POBs in with the fighters at the end of a mission, some people joust the fighters, but I joust the POBs to take them out first. The Novas (or GBs) are slower so when you joust, dodge the fighter fire and hit them. Try and stay underneath the GBs and its no problem.

If you have trouble with the escorts, just disable a few waves. Or if you have 2 or more guns, load a low level gun and use it to take the engine down to less than 10% so it cant even keep up with the freighter/ship you are escorting.

It's not 3 GBs, it's 1 GB and a pair of T3 Novas (plus escorts). I just failed that myself a few hours back, I managed to get into a dogfight and they snuck a shot in that did component damage, and my droid programs reset.

First, as I solo'ed this misison once, then the gb jumped as I disabeld it (go figure) then i had someone join me, its easy. Anyways, use a bstriek 2 on the gb. Next, i found it helpful to lead them into a wave of natural imp spawns, this helps to distarct them. finally once all is engaged and such joust the novas first, then the gb then the fighters, hopefully you will be able to kill them all.
