Actually as an imperial its pretty dang easy to beat alone. Check the guides in the FAQ. Basically bomber strike is your friend.

Solo it without bomber strike like the Rebs do. Then you could be a true Ace when you come back to say you took the vette on your own

enh, missles are just as bad as bomber strike, i was really dissapointed in how the mission was, and i didn't use either... just my two sub-par guns, heh

The Corellian Corvette as Imp is easiest, the Star Ravager is harder (due to better gunboat design and Aggressors). None of them are all that bad, though.

I think I soloed it in a T/A without using BStrike ... I KNOW I soloed it in a Dunelizard.
