I thought the last minute revised battle went well considering how outnumbered the Imps were.

I must admit that overall, this lately I feel a lot less safe in DS.

Redbled is getting better each time I see him, xTekx is getting better on the server and I know he currently has an equipment disadvantage so it's cool, Pace , you're damned good in that Squint and Norram has totally adapated from his old tactics. During the event I got a few assists with others and I think I took out redbled and/or norram..didn't take aloss myself, but kinda hung back for once.

After the event, Staark and I went against Bain, Norram, Redbled and xTekx. My chaff was being lame (kept refiring with one button push due to somthing being lodged in my mouse) so I couldn't chaff missiles and the first round against them we lost.

Second round, we scored damage on them, but still lost eventually (had my cap taken out shortly after staark was taken our. I think they concentrated on him first.). With a few more attempts, I 'think' we may have been able to have pulled one back but I won't speculate that far...you guys did real well and I'll think harder from now on about throwing myself into superior numbers battles.

We need to keep encouraging this kind of thing in DS though and even other systems at times. With the introduction of these decent POB parts, I want to try keep a POB from the rebel side operational and overt with escort regularly too. Tonight was the first time in months that I've been in an 'odds against me' situation and didn't do much to any damage whatsoever. This tells me that the Imps are getting their game back along with the fact that having a wingman is a good idea. (Staark, you're awesome). Unfortunately, we only had time for two staark + me vs the 4 imps duels but I'm hoping for more in future with the same guys. We owe it to them and as I always say..I love being outnumbered.

/deepestandmostsincere Salutations to all.

P.S

Well done to the POB crews too and the other partaking rebels.

Pace has really pushed that Interceptor...he was deadly before, tonight he was just nasty. As for Norram...anyone who can fly through that many ships at one time without taking a hit (five of us, plus the Nova?) has my respect. He was freakin' hard to hit, and when I did tag him he shrugged it right off.

Ya'll are fun to fly with!

We sure needed the numbers ... I must have died 4-5 times, and managed 1-2 kills. It felt like I was the first target of the Imps when I wasn't seeing anybody else dying.

I had a blast out there today! Cept for the bout with load ganking.

But man! I think there were 5 imps and how many rebels during the event? My radar was RED and they were all players! It was great! Dont' think I got any kills in the event, but that's because I was just flying defensively the whole time. When I'd line up on someone, somebody would be shooting at me. I love being out numbered

Before the event Bria and I had some good fights with.... i can't remember their names... but with 3 xwings who were from, RSPA?. Had some good duels there and also prevented some JSF's from attacking the SD. There's just something about killing JSF's in the original ships. hehe

/salute to everyone I flew with/against today! Was fun!

To all elements of the Imperial Starfighter Corps

Intel reports to us that Kuat Drive Yards R&D Division late last week had a set of secret plans to a high end weapon overloader stolen by an pirate group based out of Naboo.

The pirates had contacted representatives of both the Empire and the Rebel terrorists in a deal to extort the highest price out of us. Unfortunately, before we could meet their ship, a warloard class cruiser named the Krayt's Scales, was waylayed by another group of pirates who were unaware of what was on board.

Preliminary scouting in system reports that Rebel agents already hold the hulk and are waiting for a specialized craft to come in system to cut through the hull and plant a team to extract the schematic.

I cannot stress to the wing commanders the consequences of letting this piece of technology fall into the hands of the Rebellion.

By my hand,
Admiral Krueger
Naboo Sector Commander

------------------------------------------------

Pretty basic event this week, folks.

It's a King of the Hill style event where the Rebels will start off holding the wreckage at the top of the hour. The waypoint is attached.

Working under the assumption that the Rebels will have more fighters than the Empire, Pace and Abi have agreed upon a slightly skewed win condition, the Rebels will have to hold the hulk for 30 minutes and the Empire's forces for only 20.

Of course, as the event approaches and we get a definate number on what each side is fielding as far as numbers we may modify this slightly.

Rebel Safe Point will be Kylantha's Whim and the Imperials will use the in-system station.

Of course, no E-pulse and Pace has decided no RGIs as well. We're not going to restrict to current era ships, but we are strongly requesting that you avoid flying the relics.

Launch time is 7 EST (6 CST), Rebels will meet in Tyrena at 6:30 EST for briefing and outfitting, the Imperials will meet at the Imp Outpost on Dantooine at the same time.

Good luck and happy hunting,
Pace Nebulon and Abi Ocopaqui
