Yes, agreed. I should have been a little more clear. I was trying to give the impression like:
"Hey Mr.X.. Ill pay you XAmntOfCreds for you to do this quest, and give me the rewards."
Kinda like a buy it sight unseen deal. Reguarless of stats, IMO even if all four were to turn out to be just fillers.. they still hold value. I can tell by experience on my server, all the searching in the world will find you just a few, IF any Lvl8 engines period, no matter the stats.
If I told you I have bought 18 sets, at a million each.. would you tell me Im nuts? or?

Not sure what you mean by set but I have been trying to buy a QID with 99+ topspeed and haven't gotten a sniff with an offer of 5 mil. BTW this is on Shadowfire.

1 million per set for a blind buy (meaning you don't know the stats, and buy it regardless) seems very fair for the 4 items.
If it were specific stats i'd agree.
You probably aren't getting anything because
A) an engine with 99+ speed is very rare (I've done the quest on 4 characters, all have been below that), and people who do get it

B) Anyone who does get a 99+ speed engine probably isn't going to even think of selling it if the are even a semi-serious pilot.... I know I wouldn't
