Thread: If there is no space zone for expansion, why does commercial show 2 instances of space combat?

I was watching the preview video for ToOW and noticed a few instances of space combat happening. Why would the devs make a commmercial that is specifically about ToOW and include clips of space combat if they were not going to add it in. Maybe it's one of the surprises they wanted to spring on us at launch.

A. We get lucky.

B. The devs and the people who made that commercial have no communication, and are incompetent.

C. They want this to sell. Thus they add stuff and make it interesting.

It's sort of fudged advertising but not actually untrue. It doesn't say that you can fly in the Mustafar system just that you can fly.


And it's also to show the YT-2400.

If you bring up the Hype menu, Mustafar is on there. So if you can hype there must be a system, no? Or do we just hype and land? That would be poopy-pants if that's the case though Would be nice to see Mustafar from space, all glowy and orange.

A friend of mine who sent in a CSR ticket about his problems with his POB ship while in space, got a reply saying "Due to the devs working on the server while running, arecreating a Mustafar space zone." Dunno if thats true, but thats what he told me, no reason to doubt him.

Is that quoted from CSR verbatim, dont they have a certain amount of literacy required for the job?

The last thing you should pay attention to is what CSR's say. They say stuff that conflicts with what other CSR's say, dev's say and common knowledge about bugs/issues in the community says. They really don't have a clue what's going on.

i noticed that too when i was watching it last night, other thing i noticed is the planet in the background of those space clips looked like mustafar... but lets not get our hopes up.... yet...

well real space content, not just a ship imposible to get for crafters is the only thing that will make me buy the expansion


or some cool things for crafters

The system in the video is the Karthakk system (lok) i highly doubt they are making a mustafar system but then again i wouldn't be surprised if there is that much of a lack of communication within SoE, that nobody knows what everyone else is doing.
